Coming from age of grunge music, most people have a hard time recognizing the good from the bad. The album, Ten, by Pearl Jam is one of those albums that every time you go back and listen to it, you get something new out of it. From the raw energy of Evenflow, to the great storytelling of Jeremy, to the emotionallity of Black, you can't argue that Pearl Jam epxertly molded together an album of incredible diversity. Unlike many bands out there from the grunge scene, Pearl Jam didn't fall fate to "one hit wonders" like so many bands did, making sure that every song on the album sounded as good as the rest. Unlike so many grunge bands out there, Pearl Jam actually knew how to play their instruments. Taking the intensity of grunge music of the time and adding a bluesy flavor giving the grunge scene a very soulfull sound, Pearl Jam stands out as one of the elite bands of their time showing even after almost 18 years why Ten is a great album. I highly reccomend this to anyone who likes rock music.
