Hi, Everyone!
I just have to say something wonderful about a wonderful merchant -- Peapod Online Grocery. Aside from everything else, the Peapod website is fascinating and easy to use. Peapod is a godsend to those of us who don't drive and makes life easier even for those of us who do have private transportation. Especially, Peapod fills an important need for people who are recovering from surgeries or other medical treatment or simply have a difficult time getting out to shop for other reasons.

I only shop at Peapod by giant when I move to another house or when they have really good promotions. First time shoppers get the best deals like $20 off $50; not bad.
the website is very easy to navigate and items are hadly ever out of stock. if they are, they usually substitute it with something better (like brand or amount).
the items are slightly more expensive than going to the actual store. So I only shop for the items that are on sale.
Shipping is only 7 bucks and the warehouse is clean. How do I know? I used to work there and management is very strict with maintainence.

I started using Peapod after surgery when I could not drive. Since, I have not stopped - you can shop on line, change items in your cart and compare other stores. They have many brand name items less than other stores, they always have a coupon and accept ALL manufacturer coupons, even online printed ones that other stores hassle you about. I also do not do any impulse shopping and it is delivered to my door and put away in minutes instead of an hour of my time shopping, driving, stocking the car, unloading the car, etc. Of course, other stores get visited for their sales and items that Peapod...

My products are always fresh! If there ever is a problem with anything I am immediately credited. If the delivery is delayed they will call and alert you of the time. Most of the times everything I order is in stock. I just love the service. It's worth the delivery fee of $6.95 per order.
This service is horrible. They charge exorbitant delivery fees, and they are often out of stock of the item I need. I wish there were a better grocery delivery service in the Boston area.
