Peanut Shell Baby Carrier Review Summary
After the newness of baby wears off, it’s time to get back into the swing of things, while keeping little ones close with some form of baby carrier or sling/wrap. The Peanut Shell baby carrier is a pouch style baby sling that is “small enough to fold up in the diaper bag” since it has no extra fabric to knot or rings to adjust. Due to the lack of extras “there is not a lot of room for adjustment” but reviewers state the company has great customer service, willing to assist in achieving the right fit. With “so many pretty, funky, manly, and cozy prints to chose from.” moms and dads alike are sure to find a infant Peanut Shell carrier for their style. Compared to infant carriers such as the
Baby Bjorn or the
Ergo, the Peanut Shell comes out with a sturdier construction that reviewers (and babies) are more comfortable with.

I was given a peanut shell at my baby shower with my 3rd child. I had used a snugli before with the other two and it never felt like the baby was comfortable. The peanut shell is wonderful! I love it! it was fantasic when my baby was an infant. As soon as I would lay him in, he went right to sleep! So cozy! Made it easier to get things done around the house, especially with 2 older children to take care of. I felt comfortable without knots or extra material hanging from me. It was also easy to nurse him while out and about while still being descreet. Now he is 9 months, I put him in it and he…

This is the carrier that started the love affair with babywearing in my house! We wore our daughter in a microfleece Peanut Shell from the time she was 2 weeks old, and we NEVER regretted it. We had never heard of babywearing, but we knew that the Baby Bjorn and Snuggli that we owned were just not comfortable for both our daughter and for us. We searched online for other options, and I was struck by how unattractive many comfortable carriers were....until we found the Peanut Shell!!! There are so many pretty, funky, manly, and cozy prints to chose from, and the…

Safety conscious, loving this product, a baby-wearer, pro-breastfeeding, a multi-tasker
This is the best product I have found yet. We have been using the Peanut Shell since baby was 3 months old and will continue to use until she won't fit any more. I love having my hands free to chase and coral the other 3. When baby is fussy slide baby into sling and she calms right down. We went to disneyland in march and it was the best thing I could have taken with me. She lived in her SHELL the whole time. I talked with so many new moms and expecting moms I could not belive it. It was easy to nurse her in it on several of the ride and no one noticed. It was so easy on my back. I even had…

We just love our peanut shell. I ordered the grey fleece pouch and it was wonderful for my newborn born in November. She would snuggle in there and sleep while I grocery shopped, and did just about anything. It also allowed me an extra hand to deal with my 2 year old. It was very supportive and fit very accurately. The lightweight fleece made for a warm pouch in the winter, but was never too warm for the baby. The company was great to deal with and I would certainly order another one. It was very trendy looking, the only drawback was that it is not adjustable like a ring…

the only sling my son would not cry in. It comes in really cool fashionable fabrics. Takes a little getting used to, though. you have to get it on your shoulder just right or it will ride up or fit too snug. The price is a little much to bite off for a sling, but it is durable enough to go through multiple children! —…
