This medication did wonders for me

anxiety sufferer, depressed, a worrier, have panic disorder

Pros

I felt normal taking it, It was just one small pill, It kept me from being so emotional

Cons

When not taken you felt the effects, Your body gets use to taking it

For years I had been taking Paxil and it did great for me. It let me feel normal and not having that medicated feeling like when you take other drugs. It was like taking nothing at all. When not taken I would get upset easily. I would cry at the drop of a hat. When taken religously it was great.

thats why i like paxil too,you don't have the medicated feeling just feeling of being normal.I had panic attacks all the time and now i can finally go places without freaking out.

How long did it take to notice better results when starting on Paxil? I've been on it two days and still feel shakey and nervous.

There are several drugs out now that help with Anxiety and Depression. That's not in question. The problem with Paxil is when you try to discontinue it, the withdrawl symptoms can be so horrible that many poeple feel that they cannot stop taking it EVER. The withdrawl symptoms of Paxil accualy mimic the the symptoms of Heroin withdrawl. That alone should should make you question the saftely of this drug.
