Paula's Choice Skin Care —

I have rosacea, a condition that can mimic acne in some ways, and is painful and ugly at best and self esteem destroying at worst. My skin is also oily and extremely sensitive, two things that usually do not go together. I am 30 years old, and have struggled with those issues since I was 10.

The only thing that has ever worked to clear my rosacea symptoms, all my other breakouts, and give me glowing, pretty skin, is Paula's Choice (including prescription medication). I use the blemish prone set, all of it, and add the antioxidant serum. I only use the benzoyl peroxide product every other evening, and on the alternate ones I use a dab of baking soda as a physical exfoliant in my cleanser. The one product I have to rave on and on about is the 2% Beta Hydroxy Liquid. This is what can actually get into pores, and over time clean them out, make them smaller, and reveal polished, lovely skin. I repeat, this is the only product I have ever tried, at any level of price, and I have tried them all, that does that. When I have to go without it, due to not being able to just run out and get some at the corner store, my skin really suffers, becoming flaky in areas, red and blotchy, and all around just muddy looking. This is the closest thing to miracle in a bottle I have ever heard of.

I highly suggest reading at least the first few chapters in her latest book. It helps so much to make informed decisions and stop wasting money on products that don't work. Paula Begoun offers truthful reviews on all products, and if one not in her line works, she says so.

Skin care is about routine, so if you are willing to commit a couple minutes every morning and night to getting results, you will not be sorry for trying this!

I have always wondered about her products and I'm dying to try her make-up! I have been a fan of Paula's for awhile now...her books are amazingly insightful and I feel more educated when I use her advice at the beauty counter!

Someone I met once also has rosacea. She was using natural products that she found very soothing. I wish I could remember what they were. Did Paula give any good comments about any natural products? I couldn't tell at all by your photo. I'm glad you found something that works for you. Good review.
