I received this book for Christmas.  I am a HUGE Paula Deen fan(atic) and was curious to read her life story. This book is amazing.  Paula Deen writes so openly, honestly and straight from the heart.  She opens up in a very personal and intimate way and reveals not only the good parts of her life but her deepest, darkest, most personal secrets and struggles.  It had to take a lot for her to reveal those areas of her life to the public knowing how judgmental and cruel the world can be.  Her story is one of hope and inspiration and proves that you can come from nothing and be something big in...

I love to read about folks lives; not to be in their busines per se, but just to read about their lives, good bad you know the deal; Anywhow, in Paula Deen's autobiography, she doesn't hide or hold back anything; Her childhood, courtship to first hubby, getting married, having kids, losing her folks, the agrophobia, their breakup and her having no funds so starting a cottage business which evolved into the business you see now.
