When I was working in a salon, I was recommending this product to people with scalp problems all the time.  I think it really helps to hydrate and control flaking as well as providing a nice clean feeling.  I would recommend this shampoo to people with normal hair or scalp issues.

You probably should not use this shampoo if you colour treat or otherwise chemically alter your hair; I have a feeling it would be too harsh for your hair's weakened condition.

It also leaves a nice body and bounce in the hair as it cleans it fairly thoroughly.

One of my favourite things about it, however, is that it's a TeaTree shampoo with a nice smell.  Sometimes Tea Tree can smell very medicinal.

Highly recommended by this hairstylist!

In response to melissaschemmel's comment from May 3, 2009 at 6:00PM:

It can depend on the color of your hair; if you get a fairly natural color, it may not make much of a difference, but for something like, say, a rich, bright red, it wouldn't be too wise. Something with a lot of brightness, which has a tendency to fade anyway, should be protected with a color care shampoo.

I'm a hairdresser, by the way. :D

I have color treated hair and have not noticed any particular harshness or faster leaching of color. My hair does not feel damaged or too dry and I get my hair cut often enough that I don't have split ends.
