This product is for hold, and nothing more. I have tried to use this product for volume since I have fine, thin hair, but it makes my hair feel very sticky. This product does add shine, but should only be used for special occasion hair, like up dos and keeping hair in perfect place. I think this product would work great for people with thick hair, but not with fine hair. I found that my hair felt more like glue when I used this product and it did not create a natural look at all. In my opinion, I would not use this product everyday as it is not made for everyday hair. I think Paul Mitchell makes great products, and this is great for keeping hair in place. The scent is nice, very faint, but clean and fresh smelling. I would recommend this product for people with thick hair, and also for special occasion hair. Paul Mitchell never fails and does provide a quality product and a reasonable price.

The Paul Mitchell freeze and shine super spray is a great hair spray for all hair types. This hair spray provides a firm hold. I have very fine hair and I love this hair spray because it helps provide volume and makes my hair look fuller and thicker. It is great because the firm hold lasts all day.

There was a point in time when Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray was an event in my family. It started with my aunt, then my mom, and then I decided to try it. We all have baby fine hair so it is hard to find a spray that holds without weighing down. **Product Details** It comes in a white can with black writing and some red trim. A nice smell but nothing overwhelming or offensive, this spray can be used by men or women without smelling overly flowery. The texture is dry but a bit tacky. It dries quickly though allowing for some nice styles. **Product Performance** I was expecting some good hairstyling with Freeze and Shine Super Spray, because after all, my mom and aunt have baby fine hair so certainly they should have not had the problems that I find to be trouble with most hairsprays. I think I was wrong. Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray goes on nicely and does dry immediately but it leaves my hair stiff and glued together. I don't get any volume with it, but more of sticky hair that protudes out in chunks. It is hard to comb through and the styles just make it look like my hair is thinning instead of volumized or attractive. My can of Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine sits unused in my closet alongside the other bazillion cans of spray that don't do well with my baby fine hair. **The Bottom Line** Paul Mitchell Freeze And Shine Super Spray is probably best for thick, wavy, or curly hair, but not so much for fine or baby fine hair. It makes hair stick in place and is not easy to comb through. I just could not understand why my mom and aunt liked it until I asked them about it not too long ago and they both stopped using it a while ago for similar reasons. I have rated this poor because it did not work with my baby fine hair. If it were to be rated for thicker or coarser hair, it could very well be a really good hair spray.

I am a hairstylist and I love this spray! It is the only spray I have found that will give me the hold I need when I curl my hair. I use it for all my updos and for my ladies who get their hair styled and expect it to last for the week! I always recommend this spray to my clients! Salon products may cost slightly more but the quality is well worth the extra money!

Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray works amazingly. I have been using Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray for a long time and have never found another hairspray quite like it. It makes your hair stay without making it greasy looking, and it smells great! I would totally recommend this.  I really love Paul Mitchell's products. This is a great hairspray and you don't need a lot at all. Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray keeps your hair in place without flaking or over drying.  It is a must have hairspray. It's a firm hold, it will not give out, even in high humidity. I love Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray. If you're looking for a moderate hold, even in humidity, you will like Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray. It doesn't feel stiff, but it holds a curl or style. I also like that it adds a sheen.I use it daily. It is one of those products I wouldn't want to try to live without! It doesn't flake, and gives my hair wonderful shine.

Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray is a very good hairspray.  It was recommended to me by my hairstylist as the best brand of hairspray.  I have been using it for years.  Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray is not as sticky and crunchy as cheaper brands of hairspray.  It goes on light and the spray mechanism works well consistently through the whole life of the product.  And just like all good hairspray and hair products, it does not conduct or endorse animal testing.  It has four languages on the bottle and is made in the USA, but sold in Europe as well, so purchasing this product is a way of supporting the US.  The 16.9 ounce sizeof Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray is bigger than many hairsprays, so it lasts for a long time.  I have enjoyed using Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray for many years and through a few changes in name and packaging, but the quality remains the same.
