Harrington Beach State Park is a gorgeous escape from reality.

I've lived in Wisconsin nearly my entire life and I had never heard of Harrington Beach State Park, but it was a short drive away and a new place for us.   It is approximately 30 miles north of Milwaukee, making it an easy day trip.  The $7 daily pass was well worth it, but a Wisconsin State Park...

From the producers of "The Office"! But not funny!

Parks and Recreation is produced by Greg Daniels (The Office and King of the Hill) and stars  Amy Poehler, one of the funniest women on the planet.   What could go wrong?  Turns out, plenty.
