Parker Brothers Scrabble Deluxe Turntable Edition Reviews

I fondly recall playing scrabble weekly with my family growing up. And, I still love to play the game. If you are a scrabble lover (I like Yahtzee and Boggle as well!) you have to get this board. Scrabble Deluxe is worth the extra money to be able to spin the board and not shuffle the letters. Now if only I could hand select my competition and only play with those people that like to make up words as much as I do! Are dictionaries legal when playing Scrabble Deluxe??

The very durible design and ability to turn the board as you play are some great features,No more playing upside-down scrabble (ha, ha -experenced scabble players before this game was made will understand that comment.)

I love how the lettlers have a grid and stay in place as you play.I would definitly reccomend this product.A game thats quality will last for years.

The Scrabble Deluxe Turntable Edition was a Christmas gift for me last year and I enjoy playing it all the time.  I had recently rediscoverd how much I enjoy this game and was looking for a replacement for the old dented board my family has owned for about 20 years!  This edition is awesome!  I love how compact it is, which makes it easy to carry anywhere.  The drawers stay shut when carrying it making sure all the tiles and holders stay in place.  I love how easy it spins (best on a flat service of course) so I don't have to try to read upside-down anymore when looking for words.  As a klutz,...

If you're going to purchase a Scrabble game you should fork out a little extra and buy the Scrabble Deluxe Turntable Edition. It's worth the money to not have the headache!

Scrabble is a classic game! Always fun and always a challenge. It's definitely always a learning experience. It's a great way for young ones to work on spelling and older ones to learn something new! Thank goodness for the Scrabble dictionary.

When my son was still in school, reading was not his strong point. But he loved games, so I got this deluxe Scrabble to play with him.  We had to bend the rules......he could use a dictionary to challenge me and he wouldn't lose points if he made a mistake.  The funniest was when he would "sneak" the dictionary to his room to "study" words to beat me, and the pride he experienced when he DID in fact beat me made me even happier than he was.  As a grown man he continues to beat me, legitimately this time with no dictionary help, which is quite an accomplishment, since I am a writer and graduated...

I grew up with the smaller version of this product and now I am able to play it with my child.

It's a great learning tool for new words, we always have the dictionary handy.

We try to take 1-2 days a week just for family timeand this is one of our favorite games.
