If you are traveling to France, the must do is to get a train pass. It just makes everything much easier, it is not a good idea to rent a car. There are very confusing and narrow streets. You will enjoy your time in Pairs so much more if you do not have to worry about a car. A thing to think about is that the plugs in France is so much different than in the United States, so if you bring a recharageable camara, once the battery runs out. You are out of luck. But finding batteries is easy. Since I knew that I was going to spend the majority of my time out, I did not want to spend a lot of money on the room, so I stayed at a very nice bed and breakfast.
