Parents Choice Soy-Based Formula Review Summary

Highly recommended as a “cost effective” soy baby formula, Viewpoints parents rave about the Parent’s Choice Soy-Based Infant Formula. Available exclusively at Wal-Mart Parent’s Choice Soy Formula, typically runs “less than half the cost of the other stuff,” which is a relief from the higher costs of soy-based formulas. Our reviewers report no problems switching from name brand formulas to Parent’s Choice and their babies seem to love it as well. One mom states “we tried Parent’s Choice brand and it worked like a charm and actually blended better than the Similac Soy.” Viewpoints parents on a tight budget agree “don’t let this generic formula fool you cause it has worked great.” Want to make your own comparison? I would recommend all mothers in need of a good formula to not spend money on those pricey brands and only buy parents choice from Walmart.  This brand of formula has been great for my children both of them are very healthy and the doctors say they are doing wonderful..

After a long search for the right formula for my son, we decided to try this one. We had him on Similac Isomil before but it was killing our pocketbook, so with our pediatrician's blessing we tried the Parent's Choice Soy formula. He seemed to like the taste better than Isomil, and it provided the same... review »

Parent's Choice and other store-brand formulas are a huge money saver and have all the same nutritional components of the name brands. My baby drinks it without complaint. And since we're limited to soy in our home due to mine and my husbands own allergies, we are soooo grateful for the availability of an affordable soy formula for our little guy. It did cause constipation, but our pediatrician said it's okay to give him watered down prune juice to counteract that. So it's all worked out. We don't mind the yellowish color as we've been drinking and eating soy products for years and that simply...

I was told by our pediatrician to use soy formula, by DD is lactose intolerant, so we started with similac isomil, which was awesome, but the price wasn't, so i thought i would try Parents Choice Soy-Based Formula , with in a few hours my little one was constipated ad gas and a belly ache, so we switch back to similac isomil, it's worth the money, not all formulas are the same, Parents Choice uses an oil base, similac uses powder, the palm olein in the parents choice causes constipation ,for some baby's. So in trying to save some money i ended up having to spend more for formula last month, i'll...

Parent's Choice Soy Based Formula had really been a God sent for our family.  My youngest daughter was having trouble with bowel movements but the doctor didn't seem very concerned.  So I started trying different things to help her.  I felt that my 2 month old should not have to have a hard time going potty.  One of my friends said to try soy based instead of milk based formula and it worked.  My daughter started being able to eat more and have daily bowel movements witch we had not done in a month or two.  Also with the job market the way it is my husband has been unemployed for a while. ...

I just swapped my baby to this formula, from Similac Isomil Advanced, at age six and a half months.  The Parents Choice version is every bit as good and less than half the price!!!!  My little boy has some acid reflux which has calmed down as his digestive system has developed more--but we had no trouble making the swap from Similac to Parents Choice and he’s had no reactions.  It’s like he is still drinking the more expensive formula.  Most parents I know spent around $120 a month on baby formula.  Using Parents Choice our formula bill has been cut to about $50 a month!

My baby spit up more and more after his birth. We started out with Similac Sensitive but it became obvious that it wasn' working for him as time went on. We went as far as to try Alimentum formula as our doctor suggested but he still spit up like a volcana. Finally as a last resort we tried soy formula and we were so thrilled that it stayed down 100 times better. Once the free samples were gone we tried the Parent's Choice brand and it worked like a charm and actually blended better than the Similac Soy. I can't think of any cons for this formula.

I was very pleased with this product! I was running low one day, I am on WIC(women infants and children) and I didnt get my coupons until about 3 or 4 days later. And I had just ran out of formula. DIdn't have much money so I went to walmart to see how much their formula was. I think it was $12.97 for a pretty big can! I was already happy. Now will my daughter like it? I gave her her first bottle of it. And she had less gas, and she loved it! A good value, and a great product! DEFINITELY would buy again!

Thank you parents choice  for giving parents an affordable alternative. I am married mother of 2.  As It keeps getting harder & harder to make ends meet with rising cost of everything.I use the parents choice soy formula for my 7 wk old  daughter, parents , bottle drop ins, and diapers occasionally. I used the diapers on my son too who is 5 now. Thank you for keeping prices affordable.       Kellie S.  , ohio

Both my sons had reflux really bad.  I never tried Parent's Choice with my first son, but when I was on vacation and ran out of the expensive brand that I usually fed my second son, I bought Parent's Choice because they don't carry his usual brand.  I couldn't believe the improvement in his condition.  He felt better and within days was a happier (and sleepier!) baby.  And the fact that it was less than half the cost of the other stuff made me really happy, too.

with my first child i qualified for some assistance so i was able to purchase a more popular (and expensive) brand.  i didn't qualify for aid this time around, so i had to be more careful with budgeting.  thank goodness parents choice is available.  not only is it more affordable, but it's also agrees with my child's digestive system.  the pediatrician gave us a two thumbs up on our last visit.  would totally recommend this product.

My daughter was born with acid reflux, so we tried formula after formula.  We finally found one that worked, after a while she stopped spitting up this formual.  Don't let this generic formula fool you, cause it has worked great.  We have been using it for almost a year now, but it is now time to make the switch from formula to milk.  When I have my third I won't hesitate to buy Parents Choice, I love the product.

This formula is so cost efficent.  I would recommend this formula to everyone who wants great nutrition for there little one.  Its easy to mix and comes in a large enough can so you aren"t constantly going to the store buy more.  I can't imagine going back to another brand and paying double the money for the same quality I get with parents choice at half the price!!

A great buy we all know how much formula can run us and this is a great savings. I have used this with both of my babies and my best friend as well. Our children turned out healthy growing where they should be at and best of all in great health. The formlua also comes in many kinds for babies that are senative to some formluas so there are many kinds that u and the doctor can decide on.
