We recently switched our daugther to this formula.  With the milk based, it was as if she was just pouring it back after eating and not retaining anything.  With the soy based, I have the comfort that she is getting something out of it.  So if your baby is just continuing to spit up, then try this formula to see if it will help your baby too.
