I have been using Parent's Choice Milk Based formula for a few months. I have noticed recently though that I have been finding brown to dark brown chunks in the formula and the formula is inconsistent from can to can. Sometimes the formula is lighter is color and more sticky and sometimes it is darker yellow and more dry. I was told by PBM Nutritionals that the chunks are from over-cooked pieces of the milk. It is sprayed and then dried and sometimes some of it will get burnt. Today I was feeding my daughter and noticed a larger than normal black chunk in her bottle. I immediatley stopped feeding her. No thanks. That is poor quality control on the company's part. Would you drink milk if there were brown chunks in it?? Not me. I will no longer be using Paren't Choice Milk Based formula. Too bad since my daughter liked it and did well on it.
Parent's Choice Milk Based Infant Formula is not recommended by MNLaura

Maybe you haven't and maybe I just seemed to be out of luck when it came to the cans that I purchased. I sent a sample to the company and there were indeed brown chunks in it according to their own test results. It was sorched milk particles is what they said.
