I have three children, ages 10,2, and 9 months. With my first two children I used the Similac brand formula and it was O.K. By the time I had my third the economy was doing bad and I had lost my job, so we were trying to cut back our expenses. So I think ok I will try to breastfeed with this one. I had attempted to breastfeed with my second child, but things went horribly wrong. He was premature and had not learned how to suck and while waiting my milk supply dried up very quickly. So now here we go again....my third child was right on time and lactched on well the first time, but lets face it breastfeeding is hard.....and painfull. After about four weeks I had all I could take, it was time to go to plan B. My husband had the great idea to compare the labels of formulas. We noticed that the Parent's Choice brand offered more, so we decided to try it. It works great! I would not go back to the other. Now to think about it I could just kick myself for not switching sooner. We saved $12 a can. That is about $60 a month. Which means about $720 a year. That really helped us out. The formula is really good for our baby. The switch went really well. He is doing great on this formula. Our pediatrican also said it is just as good. So really bottom line is that this is a really great formula, even if you don't have to cut back on expenses.
