Parents Choice Diapers (All Sizes) Review Summary

Overall, budget strapped moms have found that Parent's Choice line of Diapers (available at Wal-Mart) are “the best low price diaper I could find.” reviewers rate Parent's Choice Diapers with only an average of three stars and over a third of our reviewers do not recommend purchasing them at all stating “the price doesn't outweigh the pain.” Several moms choose to use Parent's Choice Diapers during the daytime when leaks are less likely. One mom states it simply "They are not better than the more expensive brand but, hey we all need some help saving little bit of money so if you are hard on cash and you have children in diapers I suggest Wal-mart's Parents Choice Diapers." I've finally discovered that various manufacturers of diapers cater to different shapes of children. Kind of like Wrangler and Levi fit different shaped people.

Parent's Choice diapers fit my long and lean baby nicely. As long as I get the diaper properly placed, which is a bit of a project since she's...

The Walmart diapers seem to be the best non-big name diaper out there that we have tried. We like the price of the diapers and how easy they are to get but they fall a little short. They seem to do fine during the day when we can change my daughter before she gets too wet but at night they do not seem... review »

Oh my WHAT A RELIEF FOR THESE DIAPERS!!!  Thank you WAL-MART!!!!  I wish I had tried them from Day 1.

When I first became a new mom I wanted everything name brand (I know not very smart).  At my baby shower we were given swaddlers and Huggies and used them the first couple of months and kept on with the Swaddlers just because they, ah...well, SWADDLED i guess.  Well, later testing/use would prove that the Swaddlers would leak (especially in the night) and the Huggies had leaked a couple a of times too.

After I quit my job to be home with my son i started looking for alternate ways to budget...

I have tried Parents Choice diapers from Walmart. I don't find this diaper a very good diaper at all. Not to put down a cheap diaper, but they don't keep my daughter dry, or absorb wetness like they should. I am washing my daughters clothes more often than I use to. Changing sheets 2 to 3 times a day isn't all that fun. I finished using the diapers. Afterwards, I went to a brand of diaper that does work. Even though they are a bit more expensive, they at least keep my daughter dry, and I have less work to do. If I were any mom, which I'm not. I would recommend using a different diaper you have... review »

I simply LOVE LOVE LOVE buying diapers at WalMart and refuse to buy them anywhere else!

no dollar stores, no grocery stores, no other discount stores, WALMART ONLY!!!

You can't beat the prices of the diapers at walmart, nor can you beat the service!!!  awesome!

Great Diapers!

I had been told that these were horrible diapers to use.  They said that they leaked.

Well, it came to be that we were low on cash and low on diapers.  I said what the heck and bought a small package to try.  I figured if they leaked then that was the last time that I would buy them.  However, if there was nothing wrong with them, then maybe I would buy them more often.

The only time that I had a problem with them was when my husband forgot to change her diaper and it leaked on him.  His fault not the diapers.

These are diapers that work great.

The only complaint that I have...

As mother of 3 and a grandmother of 3 I think I know about diapers.  Also I live on social security so I know about living on a tight budget.  Based on that I think that the choices of diapers available at Wal-mart are good plus they give you a choice of quantity.  They are available at a good price so as to not break the bank. the only problem is is that not all stores carry the same products.  I am lucky because the store near me seems to have the best variety out of the stores I can get to.  Also if you happen to buy the wrong size diaper and open the package they will still take them back...

My husband bought me a pack of Parent's Choice Newborn Diapers for our 4 day old little girl.  I had never used this brand of diapers, but have used other Parent's Choice products and been pleased, so I didn't bawk when he brought them home.  As we used them I noticed a horrible rash (more looking like a burn) developing on her bum and private area.  So after 4-5 days of the redness getting worse and her screaming at every diaper change, I took her to an Urgent Care facility and the doctor determined that the rash was more of an irritation to her soft baby skin.  She suggested trying different... review »

Parents Choice newborn Diapers are great for those moms who need a well absorbent diaper that isn't expensive. They are also great for moms a with a little bit bigger baby then others. They are bigger then pampers and loves, and Slightly bigger then Huggies. My son being a preemie had to wear small diapers,at first preemie which doesn't come in Parent's choice. When we got Parent's Choice they were to big on him. Also it was hard for me to figure out if he was wet becuase they absorbe so much. If I waited to long to change my son his diaper would start to break or soak his clothes. I did...

The parents choice diapers are a great choice for those on a very low budget.  The price is great for the amount of diapers that you get.  The major problem with these diapers, though, is that they have absolutly no stretch whatsoever.  I like the fact that the parents choice brand has velcro-style tabs instead of the plastic-tape type that you usually find on the cheaper brands, so that you can check the diapers without ruining them.  Another thing is the absorbancy of the parents choice brand, which although they arent the best, they certainly arent the worst that I have found.  My only...

a diaper changing mama!

I have an almost three year old and a one year old, that are both in diapers. I am a stay at home mommy so we are on a budget. I have tried several store-brand, generic diapers. I recently bought a couple big boxes of Parents Choice diapers (sizes 3 & 5) because they seemed like the best value for my dollar, the best "bang for my buck". I am really regretting it now. These diapers don't have near the quality of other generic diapers!  I may have saved money, but my kids are constantly leaking through their diapers. Yuck! Also, the tabs are really difficult to lift off the diaper when you're putting...

Parents choice diapers are the ones we use.  We use them because they are the cheapest and my husband is a full time student and I'm a full time mom.  They are not the diapers I would choose if we could afford better.  We found that we could not use them when my son was younger because they simply wouldn't last the night.  He'd wake up soaked through in the morning.  Now that he is older they work well enough at night but they really stink.  Other diapers seem to hold the smell of urin in somehow.  That is not the case with these, you can tell right away if your child needs a change.

The Wal-MArt Brand of diapers are CHEAP. When i say cheap I dont just mean price wise  ut also in durability . These diapers are so poorly made they fall apart very easily and leak all the time. They can not put up with a moving child. The sides dont strecht to fit the waist of a bigger child. I just hate these diapers.
