Parakeets —
My mother had a parrot named Pete. He was a beautiful blue color. She had him trained to sit on her hand. She would take him out of his cage once a week and hold him in her hand and give him a bath. He could also say some words including his name. She absolutel adored him. She is now in a nursing home and of course Pete in is heaven. She still talks about him. Parakeets are wonderful pets
