Very well organized site

Pros

Print label right from site, a vast array of books to find., free, Get rid of books you've already read, community forums, info. kept private

Cons

Sometimes, there is a waiting list..., Requests few and far between, Can't choose who to swap from, waiting, credits can be expensive

I've just recently started using this site in addition to BookMooch as a way to trade my books. I instantly fell in love with the site when I saw that you could print your postage directly from the site and never have to go to the post office again... yay!! As soon as I browsed the site for a little bit I moved about 80% of my books from my BookMooch inventory to my PaperBackSwap inventory, I was ready to rock. Now, after using both sites for a while I am finding some cons to this site that there aren't on BookMooch and am considering keeping the same inventory on both for more chances to get requests.

PROS

Can ship directly from home by printing a label and paying Paperbackswap directly
More organized as far as customer service and regulating rules
More ways to list your books (To be read, Books I've read, etc.)
Forums for communicating with other members
Can buy credits

CONS

Do not receive credits for books added to inventory (BookMooch gives .1 point)
Can not choose who to swap with... sender is automatically selected by site
More members = less requests for YOUR books = less chances to earn points
Can not add condition notes (which wouldn't do any good since members can't choose or deny your book ahead of time any way)

All in all, it is a very nice site. I would highly recommend it for those that love to read. It helps the environment and your pocketbook when you swap books this way!

I saw your cute face and thought, "I haven't seen her for a bit!" Glad to see you again.
As for the review, I tried it a while back but wasn't impressed.

I have accounts at both of these also, I also use frugalreader.com - great comparison review, thanks for reminding me to use them.

I have heard a lot about the site but I haven't used it. sounds like I wouldn't have the patience for it -- I will keep doing the half price books and library thing good review.
