Bottom-Line: If you need a good 3-n-1 retractable instrument, you can't go wrong with the PhD Multi 3-n-1 Retractable from Papermate.
The Papermate PhD Multi 3-n-1 Retractable Ballpoint is three instruments in one sleek design; it's a ballpoint pen, a .05mm mechanical pencil, and a PDA stylus. A twist of the pen's aqua-green and black body will yield the instrument you want to use. At the top of the PhD Multi 3-n-1 Retractable is a black cover which covers a pencil eraser. The eraser is removable/replaceable and covers a receptacle in which to store extra pencil lead.
My Viewpoint
The black rubber grip unscrews from the body of the pen reveling the three instruments contained therein. This also allows you to replace the pen cartridge. Heavier at the top of the pen, the PhD Multi 3-n-1 Retractable is well balanced and fits easily between the fingers, making prolonged writing effortless. Again switching from stylus to pen to pencil is as easy as twisting the barrel so that the notch along the silver band lines up with the icon of the instrument you want to use. When not in use, the separate instruments can be stored securely inside the PhD Multi 3-n-1 Retractable.
I have placed PhD Multi 3-n-1 Retractable pen in my laptop bag and another in my shirt pocket. I never go anywhere without it because it has everything I need: pen, pencil and stylus for using with my Smartphone. If you need a good 3-n-1 retractable instrument, you can't go wrong with the PhD Multi 3-n-1 Retractable from Papermate.
