I have a lot of problems with conditioners. My hair tends to be somewhat oily, so I have to really be careful both with the brand of shampoo I use, and especially, not to use a heavy conditioner that will add too much moisturizer to my hair. Pantene's Pro V Medium Thick conditioner is the first one I've found that manages to make my hair less oily while also allowing it to have the kind of body I need with my stick-straight, fine, thick hair. I've been really pleased that since I've been using it, my hair holds a curl better, and styles a lot easier than it used to. And the best part is, I can go for a few days longer without needing to shampoo because of the oiliness. The other thing is, it smells SO good! I'm very, very picky about my hair products, and when I find one that works as well as this one does, I'm going to stick with it. I don't know if it would work as well for dry hair, but if you tend to have problems with oily hair as I do, I highly recommend this brand of Pantene.

I have used many different products by Pantene Pro V, but this has been by far my favorite conditioner they have created so far. The Pantene Pro V Medium Thick Hair Solution Conditioner Breakage to Strength works the best if you use it with the Pantene Pro V Medium Thick Hair Solution Shampoo Breakage to Strength. Pro: This conditioner makes my hair feel very silky and smooth. I can feel the difference in my hair as soon as I wash it out. This conditioner has a great smell and a little bit of it will go a long way and this makes it affordable because it lasts a lot longer. I have also noticed a decrease in how often I get split ends and breakage. It has not completely gotten rid of the spilt ends but it has helped decrease them. Con: One con that I have about this shampoo is that it tends to make my hair get a little static. I have also noticed that my hair does not keep volume as well with this conditioner. But what conditioner can do everything? If you have problems with volume then you should use the Pantene Pro V volume shampoo and conditioner.

I hated this product. I really did. I can't describe the feeling i had when i washed this out. First I used my pantene PRO-V shampoo. I was excited because it was on sale (I love a good sale), but when I used the conditioner it turned my hair intoa big haystack. I was awful. I don't even know what to say postive. Well the amount you get is worth the money, and maybe it was just my hair type but i truly hated this product. I would have rather gotten my money back or given this away. I will say that this is the only pantene product that i don't like. Some of the other products are amazing, but it was this one product thati truly didn't like. One of friends borrowed this and said that it worked wonders for her hair, so that's what lead me really to believe that its just my hair type. I hope that this product works better for someone else, please let me know because i hate giving bad product reviews,but this just didn't do it for me.

I purchased this conditioner along with the shampoo at my local food pyramid.(look for my review of the shampoo) I love this condtioner but their is one exeption, it can easily dry out your hair. I normally leave my conditioner on for the duration of my shower but I find that I cant with some of the newer pantene conditioners. Many of their new conditioner formulations contain isopropyl alcohol which is fine as long as it isnt left on the hair for long periods of time, so if you do buy this conditioner or any containing isopropyl alcohol just be carful about how long it is left on the hair. As for the actual conditioning it is amazing! my hair is extremely hydrated and soft. Very few conditioners can leave my hair hydrated the entire day but this one can and does. I prefer this to some, if not most of my salon conditioners. I wont work for everyone but if you have thick damaged coarse hair that is flat ironed often this should definately work for you.
