I am always looking for the next best conditioner and shampoo for my dehydrated, coarse and dull hair. I have previously used other lines from Pantene and was pleased with them so while browsing the hair products aisle, I saw Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine shampoo and conditioner on sale for almost half off! I couldn't pass it up. I used both the shampoo and conditioner for about a week before deciding whether I liked it or not. The shampoo worked great but I hated the conditioner. My hair felt coated and sticky and heavy. It was weighed down and after it had dried, a few hours later it would be super oily and need to be re-washed or dry shampoo used on it. It started to cause break outs on my neck and around my hair line and my scalp became super itchy. I will not be using the Pantene Ice shine conditioner again after this bad experience. Effectiveness Did not help my hair in any way. Scent Smelled really great, like all pantene products.

This is one of my favorite hair products. I use it at least five days a week. Many products that claim to add shine to your hair do so with heavy waxy substances that, in my opinion attract odors in the environment such as tobacco smoke and perspiration. This product is so light that you barely know that it has been used. I started using ths product as soon as it came on the market. At the time I had very long, straight hair. It worked better than any other hair product. Several years ago I cut my hair short and put the product away for a while. After I ran out of the p roducts I was using on my short hair I looked around the house for leftover products. When I found the Pro-V Ice Shine I used it and realized how much I had been missing. Well, I made sure the next time I went to the store I stocked up on Pro-V Ice Shine. Did I mention I love the smell? A light, but pleasant scent that makes you feel fresh and clean. Give it a try!

Pantene Ice Shine Conditioner is great! I used this conditioner for a couple of years then stopped because the local stores weren't carrying it anymore but when I was using it, it was my favorite. It made my hair so shiny! That was my favorite feature. It smelled great too but the shine is still unmatched in my opinion. Effectiveness I conditioner cleanse only and this conditioner was great for that if a little drying. The Ice Shine Moniker is well deserved. It rinsed well. Left a gentle scent and is all around awesome. Buy Ice Shine if you need some seriously shiny hair. Scent The scent is great. No complaints about the scent. It is not over whelming which is important to me because I have a very acute sense of smell and if the scent is over powering it can give me a sinus headache. So if you want shine without the headache get Pantene Ice Shine Conditioner! If I had to describe the scent in one word it would be "warm" which is crazy because it's called Ice Shine but it does seem like a warm scent to me.

I really like to try different conditioners just because they all work differently on my hair. I tried the Pantene ice shine conditioner and it really smoothes each hair strand into feeling a lot silkier and softer. Its very lightweight and it always leaves my hair feeling in a healthier condition. My hair has been through a lot of damage so I my hair is pretty dull. After a few uses of the ice shine conditioner my hair was a lot more shinier. I love how its silicone free and dye free. It doesn't cause build up and its not heavy on my hair. My hair is always tangle free and it makes my hair manageable. My hair texture has improved and its always soft. My hair isn't frizzy anymore and it feels moisturized. They call it ice shine for a reason because it seals in the shine for all day. My hair hasn't looked dull or brittle after I used this conditioner. I love how I can comb my hair right through without worrying about a tangle. Its affordable to buy and I would buy this conditioner again.

It is quite suitable for daily use, the scent is not too strong, but the smooth and so-call shining effect is working on my hair. But i think its best to use in the morning, effect is much gone after a night's sleep. the price is average, it is much cheaper than H&S, but buy when its on sale. Although the bottle looks big but it kinds of run out fast.

I really like this conditioner because it leaves my hair silky and shiny. I color my hair quite often and I feel like my color lasts a bit longer when using this. It smells good and I recommend this product to anyone who has lots of split ends and color treated hair.

I love this conditioner! I have been using Pantene for years and usually buy the ones that seem like they would be the most moisturizing. I wear my hair very long so I like to use a conditioner that will keep my hair soft and moisturized. I have straight hair that is also very thick. I tried this on a whim and love the way it makes my hair feel silky soft. I tend to rotate my shampoos thru the week so I am not always using the same one so I use this at most a couple times a week. But it is my favorite. I use the ice shine shampoo as well. I think Pantene may have revamped their line up and renamed the different types. I haven't seen this type in the stores in a while. Luckily I stocked up when they were on sale so I still have some. Hopefully I can find one in their current lineup of shampoos/conditioners that works the same. As always, I love the smell of pantene. While how a product works is important, I also judge a product by the way it smells.

For years I took the advice from people about hair conditioners. They said the best way to keep my hair shiny and healthy looking was to switch my hair conditioners. So I'd go out and buy the biggest bottle of conditioner I could find, use it until it was gone and go out and buy a completely different conditioner. I did this for years until I found Pantene Ice Shine. One day I was doing my shopping and I noticed a shampoo and conditioner by Pantene called Ice Shine. Seeing that it was on sale I decided to buy three of each. When I was done with the first shampoo and conditioner, instead of going out and buying a different brand I went into the second bottles of Pantene Ice Shine I had bought on sale. When those were done I went into the third bottles of Pantene Ice Shine I had bought. After going through three bottles of the same conditioner I saw that it was working just as well as the first time I used it. I was a bit skeptical at first but I continued buying and using the Pantene Ice Shine. I have now been using it for over a year and I've never been happier with a hair product in my life. I have spent probably thousands on expensive hair salon conditioners that couldn't live up to what they said about them. Those too would stop working on my hair and basically left my hair feeling and looking like I never washed it. I can't say enough good about Pantene Ice Shine. Friends and family would comment and compliment me on how nice my hair looked. I always had very thick, coarse hair which always frizzed up on me especially when it was humid. I thought finding Pantene Ice Shine was a miracle. Pantene Ice Shine has changed that. It works the same for me time after time and it is nice to not have to keep track of which conditioners I have already used and which ones I should use next. As long as Pantene continues to make Ice Shine I will buy it and use it with confidence.

Pantene has been a brand that our family has been using for a long long time! I am highly impressed with them since I have tried other brands as well so my number one brand is always and forever Pantene. They have a great line up of different conditioners for different kinds of hair and Ice Shine was actually made for me! Ice Shine always leaves my hair nice and soft and super smooth! I love the smell of it, I usually take my showers before bath and when I wake up, I wake up to the soothing smell of my hair and my hair always smells like Ice Shine! My hair is quite smooth and this conditioner just makes it more smooth, giving me the pleasure of combing or brushing (depending on my mood) my hair more efficiently. I certainly do have to go through busy days where I barely even have time to comb/brush my hair. Since my hair is short and smooth, it is a piece of cake to do that activity everyday!

I used this conditioner for about a year until I discovered Pantene's Restorative line. I actually liked it and had no problems with it but I saw a good deal on the Restoratives and have not looked back. My hair is on the drab side, mousy brown and dull. I really wanted to get it to shine naturally as I do not like putting products on it. I do not shampoo everyday so products I put on my hair and not absorbed by it will land on my pillow and eventually get to my skin, especially my face. This product worked well to make my hair shine. I am not really sure that it had an "ice shine" quality but it did shine more than before. It especially worked well when I used a straightening iron on my hair. I was very satisfied. You do not have to use the Ice shine shampoo along with it to get good results. You can use any shampoo and use a generous amount of conditioner after. The smell is a plus but most hair products these days have a good smell so that is not such a factor for me.
