So it smells really nice, and looks nice. But after a few weeks of using it I noticed that my hair would get greasy almost instantly after I washed my hair. I thought that it was my problem, but when I asked my hairdresser about my problem she asked what shampoo I used. I told her pantene and she gasped and said "never use pantene, it makes your hair horrible" apparently, the chemicals in it are bad for your hair and does bad things. I saw that first hand. After I switched shampoos (no more pantene) my hair returned to normal and was nice and healthy again. So, overall my hair was really nice for like 6 hours then it took a bad turn. I would NOT recommend this product as it might mess with your hair. It smells nice but I did not notice it doing its job of "volumizing" it just made my hair gross. Effectiveness Did the opposite of what it was supposed to do. Might work for some people, but if I were you, reader, I wouldn't take the chance of getting a bad shampoo. Scent Smells nice. Then again, so does almost all shampoo.

I have very, very fine hair and this works the best! This shampoo doesn't make my hair frizzy like other shampoos but still gives my hair volume! I won't consider another shampoo! I would recommend this shampoo to anybody that has thin and fine hair! Scent Very nice and fresh!

This shampoo is an excellent cleanser, however, I am not convinced that it does well in the actual volumizing department, ergo the four star rating, rather than five stars. It seems that Pantene products may not be as versatile as they claim, because this seems to be my general complaint with their products. They always do the basic job well (in this case, the shampoo is a great cleanser) but the specific job (volumizing for this shampoo) may or may not be an accurate claim. Effectiveness While this product may not be great at increasing the volume of fine hair, it is an effective shampoo. I especially love that it seems to minimize build-up, which can weigh hair down and make it look flat. My parents have a well for water and it is very hard. My mother actually uses vinegar in the washing machine to prevent lime build-up on clothing, so it is very bad for hair. This shampoo seems to help prevent the build-up of minerals on hair, and therefore keeps it shiny and full of bounce. Scent Pantene's products are always delightfully scented, and this is no exception. The product smells great on hair, and keeps hair smelling great all day.

I really love this shampoo! I have quite fine, wavy hair that tends to get limp and a little greasy by the end of the day. I use this Pantene shampoo as well as the volume conditioner together. After washing, my hair feels very light and clean. I usually use a smoothing product in it, but even without product it looks good just after brushing. It gives pretty good volume, but nothing spectacular. I still have to flip my head over and blow dry my hair that way to get good volume. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this shampoo, mostly because of how clean feeling and looking it leaves my hair. Effectiveness Gives pretty good volume on its own by preventing hair from getting too greasy. May need a helping hand through products or styling to get more dramatic volume. Scent This product has a pretty light smell, I believe it's the same smell as all other Pantene products. There is no noticeable smell on my hair after washing with this.

I personally always had a difficult time selecting a shampoo for myself. My hair are normally thin and straight, therefore lack volume. I have to regularly oil my hair to keep myself from shedding like a cat. Greatest challenge that I faced was to find a shampoo that could effectively wash away extremely tenacious Amla oil from my hair in one wash since multiple washes damage hair and beats the whole purpose of oiling. My prayers were answered when I finally tried Pantene Pro V sheer volume shampoo. Not only does it effectively wash my hair after overnight oiling, it gives my hair sleek shine and volume which other brands only claim to provide in their commercials. I cannot comment on whether it will be equally effective for people with dry scalps, curly/frizzy hair, and dandruff, because I have straight hair and a normal scalp with moderate natural oils.

I just love, love, love, love this shampoo!! I have noticed a significant change in the "poof" of my hair. I can always find a coupon, and a great deal which is just wonderful!! The lather is wonderful, and the scent is whimsical. I have a overly-oily head and these seams to "cut the grease". If anyone that has oily hair and is looking for a good shampoo, definitely choose this one. I have tried numerous brands, lathers, and scents, and this seems to work the best. If I come in from yard-work and I am overly smelly, this takes care of it in a flash. This also seems to make my hair have a "reflection" that I have not had before--it's a wonderful, sleek shine that swallows my hair. Everyone in my family uses this shampoo. I always remind the person buying the high priced shampoo that Pantene is just as good-or better. Any other shampoo can step aside-because this is the best of the best. Switch your shampoos for the better brand!

Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Solutions Volume works well & gives hair flair. If you have thin or fine hair, then this shampoo is meant for your hair. This shampoo will work on any hair type, but it's better for fine hair. This shampoo seems like expensive shampoo and it shows after just one use. Your hair will feel fuller when wet, and look a lot thicker when dry. When you use a blow dryer your hair might look like you put extensions in your hair, but it will be your own hair. Okay, I might be exaggerating a bit. You will definitely notice volume. It will make your hair soft to the touch. If your hair is dull, it will look shinier. It lathers nicely, but not as much as I would like. I love big thick lather, and this shampoo gives medium lather. The scent is heavenly and smells a little like rich perfume. It smells sweet, clean and fresh of course. The texture of the shampoo is okay. The container it comes in is large, so it will last and last for many months. The design and writing on the container is lovely. This shampoo is a bit expensive and that's the main reason I only give it (4 STARS). If you can find it on sale and you have a coupon, it's a steal. This shampoo is a must for someone with lifeless and flat hair, so I definitely recommend it.

I received a sample bottle of Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Solutions Flat to Volume Shampoo in the mail. It was so nice to get a bottle containing 50 ml. (1.7 fluid ounce), instead of a sachet, that doesn't always get my hair clean. I wet my hair, and then opened the screw cap. The shampoo was a clear liquid. It was fairly runny so I didn't want to waste it. I used about half of the small bottle. I added more warm water to my hair, and it lathered up. I enjoyed the light floral fragrance. I left it on for 3 or 4 minutes, before rinsing it off, and using a conditioner. Upon checking the label it states for permed or color treated hair. This meant that I didn't have to use a color treatment conditioner. My hair turned out well. The color was good, and my hair had its normal volume. I can't say that it gave me the 'Wow' factor, but I would have to assume that I would need to use it often to see if that happened. I used it the next time I washed my hair, and got the same result. Effectiveness Clean, shiny hair, and similar volume to normal. Scent Very pleasant light floral smell.

Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Solutions Flat to Volume Shampoo works great on thin lackluster hair.  I have thin hair and I am always looking for a shampoo that can increase the volume and thickness of my hair that is not super expensive.  There are a lot of different volume shampoos out there but they don't all work.  Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Solutions Flat to Volume Shampoo actually does what it the name implies and makes my hair full of volume after it is \dried and styled.  I love the mild smell it has - it is not overpowering at all like other shampoos I have used.  It lathers up really well and makes me feel like my hair is getting really clean and at the same time it volumizes it too.  It makes my hair full but doesn't give it a bad texture like other volumizing shampoos have done.  It is easy to comb through after washing.  It doesn't take too much effort to style it after since it gives my hair some body.

This Pantene product, fine hair solutions flat to volume shampoo is absolutely wonderful! I love it! I typically end up using the cheap shampoo; you know the stuff that is ninety-nine cents at Walmart. Anyways, for Christmas this last year I asked for things that would be useful. I ended up receiving some of this Pantene shampoo and it feels so good when in use and so good after you are done using it! One of the reasons why I really like this shampoo is because it lathers really well and you don't have to use very much shampoo at all. I also like it because it makes my hair feel super clean, soft and full after use. I love this feel and I find myself running my hands through my hair constantly after using this shampoo. I also enjoy the smell. I find that some shampoos have a terrible smell and after I used them I feel like I need to wash my hair again just to get the smell out, but not when using this Pantene shampoo. Great product!
