The advanced formula protects your hair color treatment without any harsh chemicals to preserve the color. Helps to decrease any major fizz issues when blow-drying and styling your hair. I wouldn't say it is my first go to shampoo for colored treated hair but it's within top 5 range. I color my hair frequently using two different colors and I feel like the Pantene is not as evenly effective as other brands.

I have used Pantene color protect  anti-fade a few times and find it not to be all that it says it's going to do, it seems my color fades quicker and roots show more quickly.  I color my hair about every 6 weeks and touch ups every four.  I wish there was a shampoo that actually says what it is going to do protect my hair and keep my color longer so I don't have to worry about coloring it more often..  It does however keep my hair soft and shiny and easy to control. If you use Pantene I recommend that you use it only if you do not color your hair.
