I used to just use voluminizing Panteen Pro-V shampoo. I have naturally light blonde hair. When I started dying my hair dark brown, I figured I would need to get a difference color enhancing shampoo or one that would hold the color in longer since my blonde hair always shown through. When I started using Brunette expressions, I couldn't tell if it was making a difference. I didn't know how long the color would have stayed in without using the shampoo. I have used alot of shampoos from very expensive to very cheap. I have found the shampoo to work great for my hair especially if I use the conditioner also. My color has lasted longer and hasn't turned brassy since I've been using it. I can now go 2 to 3 weeks longer between coloring. I do use a darker shade of the shampoo than my hair color is and I have very frizzy hair. The first time I saw this shampoo I thought, "wow...something for brunettes. For months, the only color-specific shampoo I could find was for blonds. So, I tried it. I love it. I really like this shampoo! It adds a richness to my hair that I can't get with regular shampoo. When used with the conditioner, my hair is left silky and shiny! It smells great too!!
