I have very, very long hair and a good conditioner is essential to my daily routine. Growing up, I used Pantene products on my long hair. It wasn't till I was an adult and realized that there were better options out there in the same price range that I moved away from their line of products. Pantene is fine. It's not that I won't use it if it's on sale and free or almost free after coupons, because I will...it's just that Pantene's products seem to leave a heavy film on your hair for a long time unless you use a really harsh cheap shampoo (like dollar store brands) to "strip" your hair and then condition it with something else in the future. I was truly hoping that the new Beautiful Lengths kind of conditioner would be better, but alas, I feel the same as I did as a teenager. All they've done is slapped a new label on an old product and tried to market it as something special. Well, I assure you it is NOT something special, and unless you are using coupons and sales to make it free, it's not worth your money. Does it condition? Yes, I suppose it does, but not any better than other products that sit right next to it on your grocer's shelf-and at least those products won't leave you with a nasty soap-scum-like feeling in your hair for weeks on end.
