I use this gel for boosting my curls and I really like it. I have tried many kinds and so far this seems to be the best one I have used! As for now, I will continue to use the Pantene Gel.

I have extremely curly hair and it puffs up too so I have always used gel and hair spray to keep my curls locked in. So when I saw Pantene hydrating curls curl defining gel i had to try it. I love the smell of Pantene and with the curl gel it leaves your curls soft and not frizzy . Keeps them curly without the stiffness of hair spray.

I love this product, I use this on both mine and my daughters hair. My hair is long and wavy and her hair is long and super curly. The hold of this product is super strong and long-lasting, without making your hair all stiff and prickly feeling, or weighing it down. Other products of scrunching gel I have used in the past, made my hair so stiff and yucky. They gave my hair a very unnatural and unflattering sticky finish I couldn't even style my hair afterwards. They just made my hair look like a big balled up mess of spikes. With this scrunching gel I get a very natural kind of look and because this product is not as sticky as other brands I have used in the past I can style my hair in all kinds of ways. One of my favorites is a cascade of curls and this scrunching gel holds it effortlessly. This scrunching gel also smells really good too, it has kind of a candy like sweet scent to it, without being to overpowering, this is an awesome product.

I tend to have naturally kinky hair, so sometimes I like to curl it with rollers to have some more defining curls. My hair tends to have a difficult time holding a curl, so lately I have been using this Pantene Gel for Curly hair. I have to say that I am quite impressed with it. I wanted something to help hold my curls but not something that would leave my hair feeling heavy and "crunchy." To my surprise, this gel really helped hold and define my curls without leaving my hair feeling crispy. It gave me the look that I wanted and it also smelled very pleasant. I have very long hair and even when it is curly it is a lot to work through, but I still did not have to use a ton of this particular gel to get the hold and look that I wanted. It held my curls quite well for several hours and kept my curly hair smelling great! I got compliments throughout the entire night, so I recommend this to anyone with naturally curly hair or for someone who curls their hair and is looking for a more defining curly look.

I have thick curly hair that is certainly prone to frizz, and I am always looking for the perfect gel or mousses to maintain my hair. This gel is very reasonably priced, it doesn't feel really sticky when I put it on my hair like some gels/mousses. Once my hair is dry you can't feel that there is any product in it, no crunchiness. I won't say that it completely eliminates frizz, but for that price category of product it's the best I've found.

Pantene hydrating curls defining scrunching gel, "Where have you been all my life?" For far too long, i've struggled with dealing with thick, nappy, unmanageable hair. I have very textured, voluminous, and in a word--crazy hair. For years I would spend about 30 minutes minimum each morning straightening my hair with a 400 degree gauge straightening iron to get my hair just to where it looked kept and look like "I tried". I have tried every straightening product under the sun and several types of permanent straightening systems. While the Japanese straightening perm finally did the job of getting my hair manageable and decent looking, it wasn't a very practical option since its an extremely expensive procedure that you have to do at least 1-2 times a year. This was no longer an option after I quit my job to be a SAHM and lived under a single budget. My priorities then, in looking for a styling product was finding something inexpensive, got my hair to be manageable and look the way I wanted it, and helped me to do so in the least amount of time possible. This was just the right product for me. After I shower and towel dry my hair, I work a few dabs of this gel through my damp hair and scrunch it up and sleep on it, then let it air dry at night. The result is that the gel helps smooth out my frizzes on a microlevel--calming it down, all while activating the natural kinks/curls I have in my hair and turn it into soft, natural-looking, pretty curse and waves. I've had so many people come up to me since asking if I've done something new with my hair like get a wave perm and people have complimented me on how they loved this new look on me. Its simply refreshing to be able to finally embrace the hair I was naturally born with. With this product, I'm able to really appreciate the volume and texture I used to loath because it keeps it under control and helps it to look more polished. My regimen is seriously now only 5 minutes. Truly an amazing product and super affordable as there are always coupons and great sales on this all the time!

I've been using Pantene Hydrating Curls Curl Defiing Scrunching Gel for a few months now, and I absolutely love it! I've tried so many different gels and lotions for her hair, and it seems that everything made her hair either super oily, or just dirty-looking. She is bi-racial (African-American and Caucasian) and has A LOT of hair. It's not as coarse as ethnic hair. It's more like mine...super fine and full of static. Since she has so much hair, I use a little more than a quarter-sized dallop. Her hair soaks it up so quick, but when it dries, it works wonders on her hair! She has naturally curly hair, and it makes the curls so springy and bouncy. I like the way it makes her hair shiny without looking greasy, too. I'm very happy with the price as well. It's often on sale at the drug stores in my area, and there are coupons in almost every week's Sunday newspaper. Word of warning: Do not brush your hair with a hair brush after using this stuff...only use a pick or a comb.

i really like this product me and my sister both have curly hair but my hair is more wavy and she actually stole this from me and used it all! it works really good it would make my hair more wavy. i would take a shower and brush my hair cause it gets knotty in the shower. i would then put the panteen gel in my hair and scrunch it up constantly. you just have to make sure you scrunch it up when it it moist and mostly drying cause thats when it builds the most volume. i like this product because its worth your money. i felt like this product lasted most of the day but i warn you, you should wash your hair and try not to fall asleep with it on cause it will make your hair tangled. you can get this product anywhere and there are always coupons. i recommend this to anyone with curly to wavy hair. just dont put too much on cause its stiicky on the hands. it doesnt flake off when it drys and its a clear gel

My mom uses this Pantene Curl Gel and she let me borrow it once and I loved it! It has a pleasant scent and it is light weight. It doesn't leave your hair crunchy or stiff like some other gels sometimes do. It leaves it soft and holds the curls together.  It also lasts all day. It doesn't leave your hair with the little flakes. It helps to define the curls and hold them in place but still look soft and beautiful. It is a great product and so far I have been very pleased with all of Pantene's hair products! It is great for permed hair as well as naturally curly hair. Whatever the curls in your hair need, this Pantene gel can do it!!! I have a pretty sensitive scalp and this gel hasn't bothered my scalp yet. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Also, try the shampoo and conditioner to help enhance your curly hair. Pantene is wonderful! It is a little expensive but they go on sale every so often and it is not to bad of a price.

This is the best gel for curls I have found as of yet. I have very long heavy hair with only a slight bit of natural wave. I use this gel on my wet hair and scruch and it looks like I have been to the salon. Waves and curls everywhere.  The next day all I have to do is use just a bit more gel on my dry hair and scrunch again and it looks even better than the day before. I love having a great hairstyle that doesnt take hours to do! My hair is soft, and non sticky. If you use alot you can get the separated look with a little bit of the hardness that you usually get and it looks great. then you can also brush through that and have super soft hair again. It is an awesome product!
