So I typically love all Pantene products, but with that said this hairspray is a little lacking. It is not really a flexible hold at all, more like a light hold. I spray my hair in the morning and by early afternoon I have hair sticking up and little fly away hairs all over the place. Unless I spray a ton of it on which will then give me product build up big time and then I have to deal with flakes everywhere. This hairspray is great if you want a light hold, like if you want to use it while styling your hair and you want to be able to not have stiff hair. To me flexible hold means non stiff hair but no fly away hairs and it should keep hair put. The smell is pretty strong as well. Not a nice perfume or light scent. It has a pretty strong make you sneeze chemical scent to it with way too much perfume in it. They need to tone that down quite a bit and work on the hold for your hair. Flexible hold is one thing but this gives you almost no hold at all.

I have very naturally curly hair and I have always had a hard time finding the right mouse, gel, and hairspray combination. I don't like hairsprays that are made for up do's because my curls just get extra frizzy. Some hairsprays just get my curls stuck together and it looks all matted. I would spend money on nice hair spray and time in the morning trying to get it to look nice, but ina few hours my big curls would be up in a ponytail. I found flexible hold hairspray, which is great for curly hair. It doesn't get my curls stuck together and most imporantly it doesn't weight down my hair. I also like the it's flexible enough to keep the frizz down to a minimal. I think this hairspray works great all day  long, especially when paired with the right flexible mousse. i would never recommend thick gel for light, curly hair that you want to remain weightless throughout the day. What more can I say? I think it's a great product for curly hair!

I have straight, fine hair, and I need to use a good holding hairspray in order to keep my style in place.  I have tried so many different brands it would make your head spin to list them all. I am not sure when I purchased this can of Pantene Pro-V Style Classic Hairspray in the Flexible Hold variety, but I found two of them stuck away in my cupboard, so I am sure it was on a good sale.  I couldn't remember why I never used them, but after trying it again for a few days I remember well. The hairspray itself is not too bad, it has a pleasant scent and it really does hold my hair in place almost as well as salon brands of hairspray.  However, the cap that you push to spray the product is extremely hard for me to push down with one hand.  Have you ever tried to spray hairspray on yourself using two hands?  Umm, it doesn't work.  I am 54 years old, and I admit that my hand strength is not what it used to be, but I really don't recall having a problem with any other hairspray besides the Pantene.  When I can get the product to come out, it also does so rather forcefully, and it leaves a white specs all over my hair.  Those eventually fade away, but why it does that is a mystery to me. This may have been a good deal, but if I can't use it then it was really a waste of money.  I would never purchase this hairspray again, as I have too many other brands that I like much more.

This is my favorite affordable hairspray.  I use it every day for my straight, thick, long hair.  I find that it is the best affordable product for touchable hold with movement.  I like my hair to be moveable and natural but to have lift and shape in certain areas, and I have found that this product does what I want.  I use it in conjunction with my straightening iron and hair dryer, and it works well. It doesn't have long-lasting hold, but this is to be expected with most "flexible hold" hairsprays, just by their nature.  I do need to apply it again and touch up my style if I go out in the evening, but it is so lightweight that it doesn't make my hair feel gunked up or weighed down after a second application. I also like the way it smells- a light fruity floral.  If I do have to reapply later in the day, it effectively doubles as a "hair refresher" to remove any odors that may have been absorbed throughout the day.
