Most HelpfulRecently, well about nine months ago i purchased the new Pantech Matrix. I was searching around the store and then the guy asked if i needed help. I said i was looking for a phone with a keyboard, he showed me the stores popular phone; Pantech Matrix. I started looking at it and i decided, why not try...

Most HelpfulI recently upgraded my phone through AT&T for the second time. I was looking for a durable phone with a full keyboard. I liked the idea of the Pantech Duo, but when I was ready to upgrade they had phased out that phone. I was looking for either a smartphone or a full keyboard. My second choice phone...
read full review »This phone replaced a very basic Nokia phone. Also, I still have my litle "World's smallest camera phone" made by pantech. I didn't want a smartphone because the data plan is twice as much. The cool thing about this little Pantech Matrix is it will do 90% of what a Smartphone will, certainly more than most people will ever need. Navigation and MobileTV have additional cost though not as much as one might think. Furthermore, CV, basically a video news and entertainment feature, is FREE with the $15 data plan. And the phone is easy and intuitive, and for stuff you can't figure out, there's the owner's...
read full review »This is the second pantech matrix I have and it's a pretty decent phone for the money. Since I seem to be cursed when it comes to cell phones (dropping 2 iphones & 3 blackberries in water), this is the perfect phone for me. My matrix has been put through the wringer and I can say that it still works (mostly). It has been dropped, thrown, and, on occaison, taken into the shower. The qwerty keyboard is great for heavy texters or for those just learning to text. The internet works great on it. The screen is a little small for viewing some web pages though. The camera and video camera both work great...
read full review »When i was considering what kind of phone i wanted to get after i took my other phone dropping, my first choice was the Pantech Duo. Then when i got to the store the represenative said that the duo was a pda, and i was so not about to get a multimedia package. It;s just not something that i need. Then he said that Pantech had a new phone out and it wasn't on the wall yet. He showed me the Pantech Matrix and i fell in love. It took a few weeks for me to convince my mother to get me the Matrix, but i convinced her that it was the phone for me. I have now had it for four and a half months, its been...

read full review »Let me just say that I love, love, love my Pantech Matrix from At&t.....I got it as a replacement phone since my other one crapped out. I ordered a refurbished one and it looks like new.....So far, I have had it for 2 months and have not had a single problem with it. It takes great snapshots and I love the Qwerty keyboard. The best part is having the t-9 option or the Qwerty which both flip out separately with ease. It seems pretty reliable since I have 2 children and it has been dropped multiple times. I read some reviews that said they thought the phone was bulky, but I did not find that to...

This has been a great phone for me. I havent had any problems with it at all. It is very easy for texting and didnt take very long for me to get used to it. My last phone had a QWERTY keyboard that I thought was easy but this phoe is much better!
The camera is fairly great and all the features are great as well. It has multiple alarms, easy buttons, easy to navogate, notepad, calendar, stop watch and much more! One of my favorites is one of the quick navigation buttons. It allows you to store twelve or thirteen specific areas of your phone. For example, I have quick access to my...
read full review »The Pantech - Matrix Cell Phone is a cute phone. It is perfect for anyone who enjoys texting. I advise to get a cover for the phone because it does scratch easily. Also, don't go both ways alot. If you slide it up and over alot it wears it out and then it will eventually break. Don't slide it fast, take it slow and don't be rough with it. If it slides out both ways it wont be long until it breaks. Although, it isn't like the Pantech-Duo it isn't like a computer on a phone so it will last longer. It has alot of good tools on the phone and the camera is pretty good. I use the up slide to text while...
read full review »The Pantec Matrix comes in different color choices. I has the capability to add a memory card to it. This phone has a dual slide so that the user has access to 2 different keyboards and 2 different views on the screen. I have had to request 2 replacements for the Pantec Matrix phone. I have only had this phone for 9 months. It is consistently dropping calls and turning off. The battery can be fully charged but the phone will freeze up and then shut off. This is happening when sitting in a stationary position. I was speaking to my daughter who was on a landline. I was trying to find...
read full review »I got the Pantech Matrix when my Quickfire busted. I enjoyed the touch screen on my Quickfire, so I was upset that my Matrix wouldn't have it. I quickly forgot all about my Quickfire because I fell in love with the Matrix. I love the full keyboard, the small size, and the cool design. I think my favorite aspect of the phone is the fact that it slides open two different ways. You can slide the top up, and have a normal key pad, or you can slide it sideways for the full keyboard. I like to fidget with my hands a lot so I tend to just play with it in my pocket all the time! I also like that it's pretty...
read full review »I bought this phone after my Samsung slider wouldn't hold it's charge anylonger. I did a lot of research before buying a new phone. I was unable to get a free phone or trade up to get a better phone because my contract wasn't due to renew until almost 9 months later. I needed to get a phone that was going to last until I could renew my contract.
I paid a lot for this phone....when said and done I paid $300 but it has been well worth it for me!
The keyboard is wonderful. I hated having to push the same button over and over again to just get 1 word typed. With this phone, texting is fast and simple....
read full review »This phone is great for someone who wants the extra features, but doesn't want to pay for a pda phone. I saved myself, between my phone and my boyfriends, almost 100 dollars a month with this investment. It's just like the Pantech Duo, but without the bells and whistles of a pda. I Can still get my email on it, still browse the internet unlimited, and still text message unlimited, but for half the price. It also has the full keyboard.. plus slides the other way with the regular phone buttons, which is exactly what I was looking for in a phone. I would highly recommend it.
