My husband purchased this for me as a gift. It was a little difficult to get it up and operating, but once we figured it out, we were pretty happy with it. We even took it on vacation with us, so we could show the relatives our pictures in a fun way. The pictures themselves seemed to be pretty good quality, they didn't seem to be 'stretched' in any way. It worked nicely....no real problem. After the trip, the frame sat in our living room, and seemed to work fine for months. We didn't keep it on all the time, but whenever we went to use it, it was fine.
Then, suddenly, one day, it simply didn't work anymore. Nothing had happened that would explain it, except that now I'm wondering if it was a power outage (as another reviewer noted) because we definitely had a power outage. No other appliances were affected, however this very expensive photo frame suddenly didn't work anymore.
So we only got about 8 months use out of it. And the reason I am giving it only 2 stars is because there is absolutely no support available after the short warranty period is up. There is no help available on the website, no downloads to fix/update/renew software.....nothing. Emails to the company are ignored.
I won't be buying another frame until they come way down in price. Right now, at around $100 for the small size, they are just too expensive if they aren't going to last. And I will seriously consider before buying another Pandigital product.
