We bought one of these last year from my mother in law. Her two grandkids live in Florida and she didn't have a good way to see recent pictures all the time. The picture size is bigger than 4x6 and it's really easy to add new pictures, even she can do it. You just load the pictures you want onto a SD card and insert it into the frame. This was also a great deal at Christmas with a $30 mail in rebate along with a sale we found at Kohl's. The frame is able to sit on a table or bookshelf or you can hang it on the wall, as long as you are still close to an outlet. Pandigital does make some frames that you can put batteries into, but they one we bought had to be plugged in to work. The one we bought also came with remote so you can jump to whatever picture you want. There are alot of cool settings for how the pictures are displayed as well. There were several transitions between photos to choose from as well as being able to play videos through the frame.
