I've been waiting for prices to come down on plasmas for a year and I've researched and read reviews from more sites than I can count. I purchased this set after much research. As stated, the picture is wonderful, colors are warm, light is bright, edges are crisp. I like the menu, it is pretty self explanitory and easy to get through. The set up was very easy. The sound is a bit of an issue, not enough to not buy the TV, but it can be annoying. Basically it appears that Panasonic attempted to give this TV some premium sound by use of some 3d sound software. This has been a GREAT TV so far.  I decided to go with this TV because I found it on sale at HH Gregg.  Very happy after 2 months.  We debated over several different Panasonic brands and also some Samsung.  I am a big believer in Consumer Reports so I was sticking with what they recommended.  I ended up getting a slightly different one... this is the version with the speakers on the side, but I couldn't be happier.  We paid $1399 when the regular price was… read full review »
