Another winner in the Panasonic microwave line.

in need of a good microwave oven, willing to pay for quality, very happy with this product

I replaced my old Panasonic Microwave with the Panasonic Inverter 2.2 cu ft/Genius Prestige. (I wore out the inside of the last one. Wore the coating below the turntable to bare metal after using it daily for 9 years.) This time I went with a stainless outside and I love the ease of keeping the outside clean. No worry that my kids will put something on the top that will stain the appliance. This microwave defrosts better than any other I have found. No cooked ends and frozen middles. The wattage cooks food quickly and evenly. I was a bit concerned about going from punching in time...

More power!!!

My wife likes white appliances. This was one of the few still being made. The good news is that we didn't have to compromise to get her color. The unit cooks evenly and the power is adequate to do it quickly. It holds large objects comfortably. It fits under most cabinets. The only nit I can pick is in regard to the display: there is a lot of background light, especially when it is viewed from off angles such as looking down from above.

A dream machine.

We seached long and hard for a microwave to replace one that broke recently. My husband and I weren't sure how we would like it, but were pleasantly surprised with its features and functionality. This microwave cooks evenly, has great functionality, and looks great in our kitchen. I would recommend it to anyone.
