When we were looking for a new digital camera (since digital cameras are like computers - there's always something new and improved) we had a tough time trying to find the right one. There are SO many to choose from and different stores carry different models of the same brand, so it was really tough to choose a good camera for what we needed for. We've never tried a Panasonic camera before so we weren't too sure about the quality and the usability. But after looking at and testing out many digital cameras for several weeks, we saw the Panasonic Lumix on sale. It was already on our list of cameras to choose from and we had narrowed it down to either a Sony or the Lumix. And we are so glad we chose the Lumix digital camera! The Lumix comes with a 10X optical zoom, it has a Leica lens, and a very wide viewing screen. I'm not too sure why we decided to choose the Lumix. Maybe it was the price since it normally costs quite a lot, but it did have a lot of features that the other digital cameras had as well but weren't on sale. If you love taking pictures, want a lot of features, want a great quality digital camera, and yet not a pro at taking pictures, then this camera is right for you .
