Panasonic - Lumix DMC-LZ7 —

I got my digital camera last Christmas from my mom and was a little bit disappointed at first, because it wasn't what I asked for. I'm personally a fan of small cameras that don't have the lump sticking out for extra grip, but some people like that, just for a little security when you're worried about dropping it. I also thought that it takes the picture a little bit slowly. I like the cameras that let you take a picture instantly, and you don't miss an opportunity for a great picture that flies by. I also thought that it was a little bit slow getting ready to take a second picture. I like the fact that it has special features for individual lighting situations (such as candlelight, beach, scenery, portrait, soft skin, party, etc.) It's helpful if you're not sure whether the picture is going to turn out too dark, or whether or not you should turn on the flash. Another problem I had with it, though, was that it took me MONTHS to figure out how to get a black and white or sepia picture. Not sure if it was worth the money.
