Pros: Its my first camera and its easy to use and compact. There are many setting to improve picture quality, light weight and instructions are easy to remember. I like the Ai correction feature to detect faces and the rotator for changing options. This turner allows you change modes without pushing menu all time. Many d=functions to play with and picture quality can be selected 17-0.3 M. Its also cheaper to the canon and nikon camera which are 200-300 verse the 149.99 I paid. Cons: Due to the shape of the camera I can't insert the battery and sd card by putting turning it upside down since the button has a bump. This means it tilts over if set upside down. It would be easier if battery and sd card inserted from the top or the side since I have to hold the camera upside to i nsert battery and card Overall, Beside the insertion flaw ita s good camera Image Quality works great as long asd you put enought light Performance still work after heavy use Ease of Use bigger text or more inututive buttons could help Durability no scratches but feels daunty Battery Life about avvg not sure how it compares to others Portability very light weight and small, I put it in a case so not scratced but can easy fit in pocket

my grandfather buys cameras like he changes his underpants, So i got the Panasonic Lumix from him. I t came in a few colors but i got blue. I have a daughter and the camera gives me the option to put her name and DOB on the screen and change the setting to baby. i would reccommend this camera to anyone. it has done me wonders
