I ordered this phone when my previous Panasonic died after 4 years.  The last Panasonic was such a good quality, easy to use, etc. that I was sure I wanted another.  Well, I was wrong.  The first one I received had so much static that I couldn't even hear the people on the other end.  I returned it, thinking it must be defective because of my past experience with Panasonic.  Wrong!  The second phone was just as bad if not worse.
