If you don't need to iron clothes meticulously every day, and want an iron that is satisfactory for the price, the Panasonic NI-G10NR will do the job. I tend to iron occasionally when I need to dress up or make clothes presentable for work--I'm not very picky so spending a lot of money on an iron was not worth it for me. The adjustable cord is a nice feature, and the automatic shut-off. I have had a few occasions when I have rushed out of the house without turning the iron off, so thank goodness it turned off on its own. The surface is nice, but after a few years of use (and a couple times dropped), there are noticeable scratches in mine. Sometimes, the steam doesn't get hot enough quick enough for me, and I end up having spots of water on my clothes which is frustrating. I'm not sure if this is a design flaw, or if I am being too careless. If you are picky about neatly pressed shirts, pleats, etc. this may not be the iron for you, but overall it is a decent iron for an affordable price. Performance Satisfactory. Safety Automatic shut-off has come in handy on a few occasions. Ease of Cleaning I have not cleaned it, so I'm not sure. Ease of Use Very straightforward--no bells or whistles. Durability Mine has visible scratches, but still works after a couple hard drops. Design Okay. You get what you pay for.

I am so happy to replace my old iron since I now have the Panasonic NI-G10NR Iron. This nice iron from Panasonic is really great iron. I always tend to buy products from Panasonic since I know they always tend to make a lot of good electronics so it was no-brainer for me that I would get a Panasonic Iron. This iron is really easy to use and to store away. This iron has many different settings that you can choose from to suit the type of clothes that you are ironing and always make my clothes wrinkle free. The major advantage of this iron over other irons is the lovely retractable cord that retracts once you have finished using the iron. This is a major highpoint rather than having to stand there wrapping up the electrical cord or having someone trip over the cord for the iron once you have finished ironing. IOne of my irons before this was actually destroyed that way when after I had finished ironing I completely forgot to wind up the cord and someone tripped over the iron causing it to fall and break.

I love the retractable cord this iron has- and it swivels around which makes it easier to iron around the cord. It has all the features I need, at a reasonable price. My 6 year old can iron with this iron and then put the cord away with no problem- now thats easy!

Panasonic NI-G10NR iron is a  great iron for an on the go person.   I love the fact that you can retract the cord with relative ease rather than have a cord you've got to wrap around the iron and then  hope it doesn't trail around some where or you get to trip over it and then drop the iron and break it.  That seems to be my worst frustration.  This way I can just take the Panasonic iron, retract the cord and put it away neatly.  Heaven knows with my busy life, anything that can make things look neater works for me.  I hate the clutter and mess just an ironing cord can leave behind.  Definitely worth the little extra you have.  The retraction wears very well as well.  I don't have any problem with the retraction cord.  It irons very well, heats up quickly and has a spray nozzle for those hard to reach areas.  Puts out great steam for those hard to iron clothes.
