I purchased the Panasonic FH20 Digital Camera for Chistmas! So far this little camera has exceeded my expectations for a camera in this price range. It comes in many different colors and is small enough to slip into my pocket or a small purse! I wanted a small camera that was simple to use and deliver good pictures! Love the campact battery and the convenient charger that  comes with this camera! The camera features an 8 x optical lens and take pictures at 14.1 megapixels! This camera also has a face detection and red eye detection system which comes in very handy for me because I just want to point and shoot! It does have an HD movie feature which I find about average! This little camera comes with everything you need to start taking pictures! The bottom line is I would buy this camera again at twice the price I paid for it! It is definately a good value for your money!

This camera was given to one of my siblings for the holidays, and I can say that when looking for a camera that has everything going for it, this camera definitely has everything going for it.  The panasonic lumix dmc-fh20 has eight times optical zoom and has 14 megapixels resolution.  The camera she got was a brushed red color, but I believe this model comes in a blue, violet, silver, and black version as well, so you can definitely color coordinate to get the camera lover the color that best fits their personality. For a camera that has a 8 times optical zoom, this camera is surprisingly light and thin.  It comes with a rechargable lithium ion battery, as well as a battery charger.  I would recommend purchasing a panasonic brand additional battery for the avid photo taker.  I believe the original battery holds a charge through 300 shots, which is great, but having a backup battery is never a bad idea!
