Great contrast and clarity! A beautiful buy.

By

from Portland, OR

Comments about Panasonic 42-inch Plasma Television:

This is a solid TV for a resonable price. I have owned this TV for over a year and my husband and I have absolutly noreal complaints. It is clear, high contrast, VERY adjustable, and just looks great. The tv doesn't look very good if you plug a computer into it and try to use it to do any regular computer stuff (which I was aware of before I purcahsed it). If you plug it in to watch tv shows you have downloaded on your laptop... it does look pretty good. Overall, it is wonderful. We recommended the tv to friends and they purcahsed it as well. They have also been very happy with it.

out of many confusing choices this one is the best

By

from Rutherfordton, NC

Comments about Panasonic 42-inch Plasma Television:

Shopping around for our first HD plasma screen TV was beginning to give us headaches, so went to Consumer Reports once we had narrowed down our choices.  We had already decided we were inclined towards Panasonic as a good old reliable brand name so we were pleased to see Panasonic at the top of the list of 42 inch plasmas.  The proof, as always with TV, is in the "viewing".  When we got ours home and properly connected via additional  equipment for satellite HD TV viewing, it was worth it.  There are so many choices out on the market we let Consumer Report help us make our final selection and recommend to others that they do the same.

I Love it... so far!

By

from Paragould, AR

Comments about Panasonic 42-inch Plasma Television:

I bought this tv at Circut City last week and I love it! Its worked great so far. I've read some bad reviews about this tv, but I haven't had a problem with it yet. It takes a lil bit to get the picture adjusted for analog cable, but once you do its amazing. It looks great with dvd and video games. I would recommend this tv.

Great, crisp picture and awesome stereo sound!

By

from Saint Albans, WV

Comments about Panasonic 42-inch Plasma Television:

This was the first high-definition purchase for us. We love this TV. The picture quality is awesome, so crisp and the color is phenomenial. We can't wait to get more channels in HD. The controls are very easy to use and it's very easy to set up with a home theater, DVD player and DirecTV box. The only drawback is the fan light, which doesn't last too long and is expensive to replace. You have to order it from Panansonic so you also have to pay shipping for it as well.

Great TV - No Problems

By

from Sunland, CA

Comments about Panasonic 42-inch Plasma Television:

I love this TV. I have had no problems with it since I hung it on the wall. We use it a combined 5+ hours per day. I would buy it again, and agian. Coror is good, picture sharp, when used in combination with a radio remote, as we have, it is usable throughout the house for TV or Music through Direct TV.

THe 42PX60U is a great Plasma television at an awesome price

By

from Tonganoxie, KS

Comments about Panasonic 42-inch Plasma Television:

This is a great television, even after some age under it.  The blacks are remarkable.  Although we've heard that plasmas need a dark room, I haven't found that to be the case.  We have had this is a wide open living room with no visible issues.  The television comes with an appropriate number of HDMI ports for video games, blu ray players, etc.  I have an XBox, DVD and Wii connected to this television, and non-HD cable.  The image is consistent across the board.  Although I don't use the SD port very much, it would be handy for showing photographs.  The prices of these keep on dropping, adding value with each price decrease.  I also own a Samsung LCD and 50 inch plasma.  Although I like the Samsungs, I'd give the nod to the Panny. For anyone looking for good quality, and a great price, I'd recommend this television.  Without hesitation, I would buy Panasonic plasmas without any hesitation.

Great picture quality!

By

from Rowland Heights, CA

Comments about Panasonic 42-inch Plasma Television:

I've had this Panasonic 42 inch plasma television for a long time now and I am completely satisfied.  I use it mainly to watch sports, and dvd movies.  The sound quality is great, and the picture quality is great as well.  It's definitely good enough of a television for me because I don't use it for anything too fancy.  The only downfall is that plasma televisions emit too much heat.  In the summertime, if I leave my television set on for too long, my bedroom gets really, really hot.  But it's good for the wintertime because I wouldn't have to turn on the heater! Besides having good picture and sound quality, the design is very sleek and modern.  I hang the plasma television up on my wall and it looks terrific.  I've gotten many compliments on how nice it looks.  It also has a built in HD tuner, and I can also connect my computer to the TV when I want to watch tv shows online.  So far nothing has gone wrong with it for a few years.

Great television

By

from Lincoln, NE

Comments about Panasonic 42-inch Plasma Television:

This is an excellency TV that has served me very well. I have owned it for 2 years now without any problemsat all. Very good picture and great sound. Very easy setup. I am not the best person in the world to setup equipment but even i was able to do this alone. You do not really need two peope mfor it (still recommened probabaly). Come with all bolts and screws needed for various wall mounts. This television is excellent, excellent quality and craftmanship. The price was very reasonable too. the handbook was very helpful and informative. The usage is very user friednly and one can switch between channels easily. Even without remote, all function's are available throguh button ont he unit itself. Coems with a special cloth to wipe screen. Recommended not to use glass cleaner or non specified cloths or towels. Blue Ray movies look amazing on this unit and I can only stronly recommedn purchasing this item. Your money will be well invested and your movie experience will be elevated to a new level. Besttelevision I have ever owned. Before this one i owned a Westinghouse which was not eve as good in quality at all.

The Panasonic 42 inch plasma makes everything look fantastic

By

from Pulaski, PA

Comments about Panasonic 42-inch Plasma Television:

The Panasonic 42 in. plasma tv was purchased for my grandson.  (he lives with me)  It is in the basement where he has his room.  When lucky, I am granted permission to join him watching dvds.  If he is annoyed, I come upstairs to watch my little 25 in. screen tv. After watching on the big screen, I cannot believe the difference.  I can see small details and even words and letters that I have been missing for years on the 25 in. tv.  My issue is that he plays it so long that I am worried that he will wear it out before it's time.  I hope this isn't the case.  It is awsome with the surround sound we installed.  Just like being in a theater only better because he can pause, stop and go back when he needs to.
