Sometimes I am porcelain pale and I need a little SPF before I get a base tan going. I'm slow to tan so I have to slather on the sunblock when I haven't gotten any color established. I purchased this sunblock to try on my face and ended up using it on my entire body when I visited Folly Beach. This sunblock just isn't strong enough. I went to the beach in March while the weather was mild and the temperature was only in the high 60's and low 70's. The sunblock just didn't help me. I ended up with a burned face, burned arms, and my legs looked like a lobsters. The weather was so mild that I figured this lotion would be strong enough to do the trick but it didn't. I didn't get in the ocean with it but I did get into a pool. I could still feel it on my skin after swimming so it is waterproof but it just isn't strong enough. This might be okay for someone who already has a base tan but I doubt it. Scent The scent is okay. It smells tropical and like coconuts. Absorption It absorbs well and lasts in water. Longevity This isn't strong enough. It caused me to get a pretty severe sunburn. I put too much faith in this sunblock. Effectiveness This sunblock didn't help me at all. The SPF 15 just isn't strong enough. Ease of Application It's easy to apply but a pump would make it easier to put on. The cap makes it hard to handle with slippery sunblock hands.

I use this Panama Jack sunblock during the summer months when I lay out by the pool. It is a great sunblock to keep you from getting a sunburn, but allows you to get a tan. I was able to use this last summer and not burn at all. I also had an awesome tan at the end of the summer. I do not believe in laying out with no coverage. However, you want to be able to get a tan through the sunblock. This is a great product at meeting that need. I would highly recommend this sunblock for laying by the pool or at the beach. If you reapply it correctly, you will not get burned. Scent The scent is good. It smells like a typical sunscreen. Absorption It absorbs quickly and does not leave you feeling greasy at all. Longevity It lasts for a decent amount of time. You have to reapply it based on the instructions on the bottle in order to not get burned. Effectiveness It you reapply correctly, you will not get burned. It is also effective at allowing you to get a tan. Ease of Application It is easy to apply.

Panama Jack is the brand I always used growing up, especially because of the wonderful scent-it is a classic scent of summer and sun. If you don't want to burn too easily and want to tan a little, its perfect, but you have to pay attention to reapplying in a timely fashion so you won't burn. If you get the formula with higher SPF reapplying is less necessary. Scent The scent is what got me using it so often when I was a teenager. Its perfect for basking in the sun, and the scent is so nostalgic! Absorption It absorbs quite well, and the scent stays with you. Longevity It is waterproof but as with most brands, it almost only means that if you stay relatively still-it doesn't stay on long with sports or active swimming Effectiveness For just sitting around, its very effective. If you want longer protection you can reapply or use the one with the higher SPF. Ease of Application Very easy to apply-comes out of the bottle easily, and isn't difficult to dispense when the bottle is near empty.

My family and I had lived in Florida for many years and Panama Jack was always the preferred choice of sunblock between myself and my friends! Panama Jack works really well. The lotion is waterproof and stays on your skin for hours in the sun. I live up North now and I never really see Panama Jack Sunscreen Lotion on the shelves anywhere up here. I'm not sure if they only sell it in certain cities or if I just haven't found it around here yet! It was always my favorite sunblock lotion to use because it works way better and lasts much longer than any other SP5 15 lotion. Panama Jack lotion is not greasy or oily and it never gave me pimples! The bottle always lasted me a pretty good amount of time. The lotion absorbs super quickly and lasts for quite a few hours. It smells fantastic! No other sunscreens could compare to Panama Jack and I just wish I could find it in stores around where I live! Scent It is the best smelling suntanning lotion! It smells wonderful on your skin. I bought this sunscreen at the hotel gift shop when I was on vacation. I forgot my sunscreen at home and did not realize how hot the sun actually was. I thought I had over paid for the sunscreen, however it works so well that I quickly forgot how much it costs. It left me with protection from the sun, and a nice golden tan. I love this product and most of the Panama Jack products. The cost of the product is no longer an issue of mine. Scent Has a great, light scent that makes your skin feel soft and smooth. Absorption It absorbs really well and does not leave a greasy feel to your skin. I love the way it absorbs quickly. Longevity I only applied one time and it stayed with me all day. I went into the pool many times and still felt like my skin was protected from the sun. Effectiveness This product protected my skin from getting burned and left me with a golden tan. For an old beach lover like me, there are a few things in life that I can't imagine not having with me at the beach: a cooler, beach chair, fishing net, volleyball and Panama Jack Waterproof sunscreen. There's a reason that Panama Jack has been around since I can remember, and that is because it is the best sunscreen on the market. Scent Simply put, Panama Jack smells like Summer vacation and trips to the pool. Absorption Panama Jack Sunscreen absorbs quickly, and doesn't feel greasy to me. Longevity If you're on the beach all day and it the water, the safe bet is to re-apply every now and again. But, I've forgotten to do this a couple of times with Panama Jack and have been OK as far as sunburn. I don't have fair skin though. Effectiveness Does exactly what it designed to do - keep you from getting burned, while allowing you to play in the water. Ease of Application Eh, pretty much all sunscreen is the same when it comes to applying it. Hard to reach your own back!

I like this because I can still get a tan but not be burned to a crisp. I love that sun kissed look but I hate the pain of sunburn so this product gives you a perfect medium. The product is not too thick and not too watery, so it is easy to apply and spread all over your skin Scent Smells great! Longevity really waterproof

Panama Jack has always been a trusted tradition of sunscreens for my family. The line of products has always given us excellent results and protection from the harmful effects of the sun. Since we are an avid outdoor family, sunscreen is a must. I apply the sunscreen just before going outside and it lasts all day through whatever I may be doing from yard work to swimming. The lotion is great in pools and other water activities as it doesn't rinse off as soon as your skin gets wet. The lotion is simple to apply, it goes on smooth and is fast absorbing. It has a pleasant fragrance to it and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy and is simple to wash off with soap and water. The Panama Jack lotion is a great product at a more than decent price. I feel this is a must have for anyone that enjoys the outdoors and is concerned with skin safety. I would definitely praise the makers of Panama Jack for such an awesome and effective product.

While spending a mid-summer's day with the family at an amusement park, the kids decided to spend a lot of time in the water park area. So, I dug through the swimming essentials bag only to discover that we did not pack any sunblock. I walked into the nearest gift shop and grabbed the first one I saw- Panama Jack Waterproof Sunblock Lotion with an SPF of 15. I was not happy with the price, but what do you expect at an amusement park? I had never used this brand of sunblock before and wasn't sure how my son's extremely fair skin would react. It was the BEST sunblock I have ever used on his pasty white skin! It had a pleasant scent to it. The consistency of the product was nice. Normally, my son's skin on his shoulders and face burn even with sunblocks that claim they have an SPF of 25 or higher. This time his skin did not burn. The lotion absorbed quickly into the skin. This is the only sunblock I have used on his skin since that day. It's a great product and I definitely would recommend it. Scent Has a nice, pleasant scent. Absorption Absorbs well into the skin. Longevity We reapplied the lotion after about 3 hours. Effectiveness My son's fair skin did not burn. Ease of Application It's very easy to apply.

I went on holiday to Orlando, Florida and when I was there one of the places I went to was Aquatica and got given a bottle of Panama Jack sunblock, It is amazing! I am from England and quite fair skined and quite often get burnt but this sunblock worked perfectly and even allowed me to get a tan. I used it for the rest of my holiday and when I got back to England I bought another bottle to use in the summer. Overall this product is great but the best thing about it is the scent. It is one of, if not, the best smelling sunblocks you can buy. I will deffinatly be using this as my preffered sunblock. Scent The best thing about the product. Absorption Absorbs pretty much straight away so it doesn't leave you sticky. Longevity Long lasting no need for loads of applications. Effectiveness Very effective even for fair skinned people. Ease of Application Very easy to apply and only a small amount of the sunblock is needed for each part of the body as it spreads easily.
