Pampers Swaddlers Review Summary

Pampers Swaddlers Diapers are a top pick in diapers among our reviewers. 94% gave them a thumbs up. The pros of Pampers Swaddlers are stretchable closures, good fit, absorbent, hospital recommended and used and soft. "You couldn't ask for better quality," according to AZgal3. Others didn't have as good of an experience with Pampers Swaddlers. Several users found that the diapers are easy to leak though and can be a problem for babies with sensitive skin. DonnaHarris said, "wouldn't recommend these diapers as they will leak due to movements." The bottom line is that most reviewers loved Pamper Swaddlers, but if the fit isn't right for your child, they will have some leakage.

I am a devoted Pampers user. I have tried everything from Huggies to Pampers and everything in between (Target, CVS, Cosco, Organic, etc) and I like Pampers the best.

So, what do I like about pampers?

  1. They seem to fit my kids well with limited leakage. (direct translation-- means less change of clothes...

I would have loved to be a Pampers user, but it just wasn't in the stars. I work in a nursery, so I've changed a diaper or two. The Swaddlers are super soft and I've never had a leak. HOWEVER, they have been deemed unusable in my home. My bad-ish review is due to a case of allergy to the perfume Pampers... review »

We are first time parents and have been using the Pampers Swaddlers for our newborn baby.  They have worked brilliantly for us and it is a diaper that we have gone back to purchase numerous times already.  These are basically for the first stages of the newborns life, and the Swaddlers are created to provide the baby comfort while affording the parents security that the diaper isn't going to be leaking or break apart while in use.

The Pampers Swaddlers are designed for babies up to 10 pounds so you want to make sure that you are buying just enough to use for a short while and not so many...

Wow! I had a lot of problems with these diapers. A lot of family members bought these when my first son was born and I was really appreciative. My boy continuously peed out of them. I tried folding the top down to try to stop the pee from coming out, but that didn't work either. As I was breastfeeding him, he would poop and it would always leak out onto his clothes. I would have to change his clothes after every feeding and randomly throughout the day. Needless to say, Huggies are all I use now.

I tried all the other top brands( Huggies,Luvs)  and Pampers Swaddlers were the only ones that had a great fit and kept the mess in the dry weave of the diaper and off my son's bottom.

When my first grandson was born, we quickly found out that he was double blessed with allergies.  Both his father and mother have allergies and my grandson inherited more than his fair share.  One of the things that quickly showed was rashes from some brands of disposable diapers.  It ended up that Pampers Swaddlers were the best choice for him overall.  Read on to find out why!

Pampers Swaddlers Diapers

Pampers Swaddlers Diapers are soft with a quilted backsheet in the rear of the diaper.  The sides are designed with a stretchy material that is great for making sure the diaper is secure on...

I am a first time mom and almost everyone gave us these diapers for the baby. The hospital used these also. The diaper can contain a great amount of liquid. I was greatly impressed. We only had leakage when a long awaited poop came along. I guess nothing could contain those! But joking aside I believe that you could pour a cup of water in one of these diapers and it would absorb it all. I will keep using the product and recommend it to everyone with a new little one.

I tried every type of diaper for my preemie daughter, when she was really small and now at 13lbs and Pampers are the best! They fit her the best, they are not bulky like Huggies. Pampers was all the her hospital used on her for the 2 months she was in the NICU and it is what we continue to use at home. Pampers preemie size just fit my daughter the best and come highly recommended by her hospital!

I love Pampers Swaddlers diapers.  They are super absorbant and super soft and keep the baby happy.  Since I have a little boy I need super protection against leaks while still allowing him to be comfortable in his diaper.  So far, Pampers has stood up to the challenge.  Another good thing is I'm always able to find at least a $1.00 coupon for Pampers also.

I bought a package of every brand at target then took them home and tried each one. The pampers swaddlers fit the best and seemed to keep my baby the driest. The Target brand ran big, the rest were fine, but the pampers was very soft, not crinkly. They are expensive, but i use coupons after joining the online site. I use these at night and the other brands during the day. I think store brands can be decent, but at night you really need a diaper you can depend on.

Pampers Swaddlers, Cruisers and Feel 'N Learn are the best diapers you can buy.  You can't ask for better quality!  They are soft, virtually leak-proof, stay where you put them, and they have a light scent that smells good!  After going through 3 other brands I finally found Pampers and have been hooked ever since.  The others would either not stay on, caused diaper rashes (because they didn't allow any air to the baby's bottom), leaked, or would move around causing accidents...and the list goes on.  I currently have 2 children and 1 on the way and I can honestly say that with 4 years of diaper...

My husband and I are new parents, and diaper changes were something that we wanted to be as pleasant and simple as possible. Our hospital used Huggies and gave us a free package; some friends gave us store brand diapers. We were impressed with neither. Between poor fits and leakage issues, we needed a suitable diaper.

Some of our best friends recommended Pampers Swaddlers, and we have not looked back since then. From birth (at 9.2 pounds and 21 inches,) our long, lean daughter has done very well in these. She is difficult to fit, because she is extremely long (26 inches now) with a very small...

The Pampers Swaddlers is by far THE best diaper you could buy for your newborn infant. My husband and I are first time parents and when we gave birth to our daughter 2 years ago, we tried every diaper there was. We had been given several different brands of diapers from different showers that had been thrown for us, so we used all of those up first. We were on a very tight budget but we learned really fast that the Swaddlers were the softest and most leak resistent diaper of ALL the brands, including Huggies. My daughter was pretty tiny so we started out with the premie sized diapers and gradually... review »

Let's face it. When you've got a newborn, the biggest thing a diaper has to do is contain the poop. You're changing your baby 8-12 times per day as it is, and there just isn't enough liquid coming out to make containing liquid output an issue. But especially if you are breast feeding, you need something good to keep the poop in the diaper.

What I like best about Swaddlers is that they not only contain the poop but they somehow manage to wick away all of the accompanying liquid. Diaper changes are much nicer when you're not worried about liquid poop getting everywhere. Excellent.

A new feature...

As a mother of twin girls, having high quality diapers is extremely important to me. I have used Pampers Swaddlers on my daughters since they were born, including the time they spent in the hospital. They are three months old now and have only had leaks one time, which was the first time they slept for six hours overnight. I have tried other name-brand diapers and had leaking problems during the day, but never with the Pamper Swaddlers. My daughters were 4 pounds, 11 ounces and 5 pounds, 9 ounces when they were born, so I appreciated that Pampers Swaddlers came in a Preemie size. I have also found...
