We had signed up online to get coupons through the mail from Pampers, and we got several sampler packages in the mail with a Pampers Swaddler newborn diaper in it, so we decided we'd try those first.

After doing some comparison shopping, we found we could get a really LARGE economy sized package of newborn Swaddlers (bigger than offered in local stores, but might have been available at Sam's or Costco, not sure as we are not members) for a decent amount, plus $10 off and free shipping from Diapers.com.

We flat out fell in love with these diapers.  They are wonderful.  They fit great, they are very absorbant, they don't leak, and they are not bulky.  We used them from the newborn size up through size 2-3 for our daughter.

As our daughter aged, we tried a few other brands when we ran short of our supply or saw them on sale.  People will tell you your child won't know one diaper from another.  OUR daughter did; we wound up giving away the Huggies Supreme which she hated, and we disliked due to the poor fit and extreme bulk.  We used up the Luv's whenever we ran out of Pampers Swaddlers, but they were not as absorbant as the swaddlers and didn't fit her as well as the swaddlers, either.

Our daughter was an early roller/crawler/walker, but the Pamper's Swaddlers worked great, even better than all the diapers that have been "designed" for movement.

We only found the Pampers swaddlers up to size 2-3 online; in stores they only offered size 2, but we would have bought the 2-3 and above in the stores if they were offered.  After size 2-3, you have to switch to either the Cruisers or Baby Dry in size 3 and above.

Although someone put in the pros below that Swaddlers are offered from newborn through much larger sizes, according to the Pampers website, the Swaddlers are ONLY available up to size 2-3.

The Pampers are a pricier brand than the Luvs or generic Target brand (both of which we are willing to use again as needed), so the cost is a bummer, but after a few personal experiences of the baby poop kind, we decided that for right now, we'd rather pay a bit more for a diaper and do a little less laundry and scrubbing of messes.

If anyone from Pampers reads this, we'll buy the Swaddlers in every size for our daughter and every other child we might be lucky enough to have, if you'll make them in larger sizes!!!!
