A Bum Wipe

Two AM, crying...make that shrieking baby with a diaper rash. Why oh why did I try to be thrifty? I'd been using two dollar Chubs wipes, Huggies, and even wanna'be "generic" brands. All I can say from mega-wiping experience, is "nuh-uh"...NEVER AGAIN.

Clean Sweep

When I first started using Pampers Sensitive Wipes, my daughter was in the throes of a terrible diaper rash. I suppose anything I used would've felt like sandpaper, but leading wipes brands (at the time) offered zero options for "sensitive skin". My daughter's been in Pampers since she was 20 minutes old, so I felt confident enough in purchasing the Pampers brand.

Pampers Sensitive Wipes are delicate, cloth-like, and have a barely detectable unusual scent. The wipes are supposedly "fragrance free" but I can still pick up a light, almost chemically "fresh" scent. The wipes come with a convenient "one-hand" reusable plastic dispenser, and the refills are vacuum sealed in dispensable packs. A single case contains eight individual packs, but they can be purchased in a variety of sizes; mini-travel sized, single, double, even six packs.

...Slip Slidin' Away...

The wipes contain no harmful, harsh, or "odd" ingredients I can't pronounce. They're *hypoallergenic, *perfume free, *created with 95% purified water, *infused with Chamomile, *Aloe, and are *alcohol free. I believe the biggest difference is the non-alcohol content. Many leading wipes contain alcohol, and for diaper rashes and "sensitive skin" Alcohol spells d-i-s-a-s-t-e-r in any language!

The material/consistency of the wipes feel slightly slick to the touch and they leave a soft, "lotiony" residue on the skin. The moisture is easily absorbed which (I believe) is due to the Chamomile and Aloe ingredients.

Wipey Swipey

Pampers Wipes are remarkably durable, and can even be "un-naturally" stretched, just for fun my daughter and I "pulled one" and we stretched it almost 14 inches! Despite durability, when compared to amply thick Huggies wipes, Pampers are noticeably thinner. I often have to double up for tough cleaning jobs, but it‘s worth it since I never have to worry about these wipes contributing to diaper rashes!

Pampers Sensitive Wipes, though thinner, are much softer then other leading brands, and their natural, soothing, hypo-allergenic ingredients, make them an excellent choice for all types of skin.

It seems like any other diaper wipe I use, other than Pampers Sensitives causes diaper rash beyond belief (we are talking tomato red and bleeding) my son is almost 11 mos old and I can't change to a thicker wipe for heavier jobs. I can't seem to find any "real" info on why that is. I guess for now I will keep to the old stand by and keep loving my Pampers sensitives. Any other parent who is having similar instances should definitely try these I can almost guarantee a big difference within a couple of changes.
