Pampers Cruisers Diapers —
My daughter has just turned 3 years old, and though she is 100% potty-trained during the day, she still sleeps with a diaper. The only diaper we use is Pampers Cruisers, size 5. The Pampers brand is the brand most often chosen by my circle of friends with girls, and I feel that it has served us well throughout my daughter's life. However, I'm particularly impressed with it at this stage of the game. Pampers has two distinct lines of diapers - the Baby Dry and the Cruisers. While the Baby Dry is a fine diaper, and serves its purpose, it is not nearly as easy to use as the Cruisers. The Cruisers are, in my husband's words, "the stretchy ones". They are easy to fasten, and because they feel so flexible, I believe my daughter to be comfortable... they don't feel stiff. They do a great job keeping her dry all night, and that's no small feat for a three year old who drinks a lot and sleeps through the night. She wakes up each morning with her diaper soaked, but her jammies and bed dry... and isn't that what you really want a diaper to do? This isn't even a specialized night time diaper, just the regular Cruisers. Some tips... if you child starts leaking, buy the next sized diaper. According the weight limits listed on the package, my daughter can wear a size 4 or 5; I'm thinking maybe body shape determines which one fits an individual better? Also, as far as Pampers being touted as being more expensive, I have never bought a package without a coupon; they are often in the paper, given as a coupon with your receipt at the grocery store, online, etc...
