I admit that Pampers cruisers do a great job of keeping a baby's mess in her diaper.  As a full time child care provider of young toddlers, I have seen only a few leaks out of these diapers. However, the special lining inside of the diapers ALWAYS deteriorates some when wet, leaving mushy paper-like lining stuck all over the child's bottom..and it will dry onto the child's bottom unless she is changed only minutes after urinating.  It is such a hassle to try to wipe up these balled up bits of lining!  Cruisers cost a fair amount more than regular diapers and not only would I not be willing to pay more for the special inside lining, I would prefer not having it at all.
