When my daughter was born, we tried many diapers. Luvs, White Cloud, store brand, etc. At first I was under the impression that all diapers are created equal. I was VERY wrong. Luvs (despite being made by the same company as Pampers) NEVER worked for my daughter. She always wet right through them. The store brands were just as worthless. However, once we found Pampers Swaddlers, we never switched again! I will use Huggies in a pinch, but truly I prefer Pampers. In my opinion, now that "regular" Pampers have the elastic tabs, they're just as good as Cruisers, but I will buy whichever is on sale.

If you are concerned about the price (which for me, I definitely save in the $ I don't spend washing wet sheets and clothes), definitely keep your eye out for sales and coupons. Look for GROCERY STORE sales, sign up at Pampers online and look on eBay for any good coupon lots.
