Your dish will be a wonderful golden brown when done and evenly cooked through out. I use mine for cookies, tarts, baked apples and more! I love the easy clean up - usually nothing more than a little water adn rubbed down thih small scraper that comes with it and it is clean and ready for the next use. The only drawback is that it can be a bit heavy - but well worth the effort when you see how wonderful your dish will turn out!
