I would not recommend this pan.

As it was brand new, i didn't test it first. It oozed a sticky merengue torte all over the oven and was a big mess to clean. After cleaning, I tried the glass bottom with water, and the aluminum bottom with water, and they both leaked badly. I carefully checked to make sure I had the pans sealed correctly. This is definitely a very bad default with this pan. I do not advise buying it.

Leaks...not work the money

I bought this pan after hosting a pamper chef party. I used this pan once and it leaked horribly. I talked to me consultant and she said she had the same one and hers never leaked, and that mine may have had some sort of defect. I called PC and they happily replaced mine. Honestly, they have amazing customer service. Just got the new one in the mail today and it still leaks. I love ALL of my other PC stuff, but this wasn't worth the money.

I'm not a fantastic professional cook or baker, by any means. I like to try though! I want my kids to look back on their childhood and remember their mom baking things from scratch. My enthusiasm doesn't always make up for my lack of skills though. I'm always looking for ways to make baking easier. It seems I always have trouble getting the cakes out of the pans. I've tried better brands and silicone and then I decided to give a spring form cake pan a try. Pampered Chef has a pretty good reputation so they seemed like a good place to start. With my first try, I had some trouble with leaking. However once it was all cooked I just pulled off any little bits that looked out of place. The removable sides definitely made getting the cake out easier. Even with the little bit of leakage, filling this pan was still easier than the silicone. All in all, I the this is a good product and I would definitely recommend it to anyone like me who has trouble getting their cakes out of a regular pan in one piece! I've read some reviews that say this is good for cheese cakes too, so I think I'm going to give one a try soon!

Good but not worth the money

I would suggest going to a big box store and getting one for half the price of this one. It will probably still be great quality, as this one is, BUT its not amazingly different than other brands I have bought before. Performance I have had good results from the baking. Nothing has been burnt and seems to be coking evenly. I I have used parchment before to help and its been great with that too Ease of Cleaning Its been easy to clean since it comes apart and open. Nothing sticks really so you almost just have to wipe it down and be done with it Durability I will say its not really flimsy like some super cheap ones I have seen. It seems like it is going to hold up well. I also have not seen any discoloring or any spotting. Design Its not a unique design, but it works well. I would say that sometimes the latch is a little hard to open but gets easier with time as you wear it in Doesn't Stick I have not had anything stick to this at all. I forgot to use spray once and it still didn't stick so I was happy with that!

Leaking springform pan.

1

I frequently make cheesecakes and this pan is the worst I've used as far as leaking goes. I wrap it carefully with double heavy duty foil and it still leaks. It makes me sick that I wasted my money on this. Performance Water leaks into pan when using with water bath and cheese cake leaks out into oven when using without waterbath.

This pan may seem a little expensive but worth every penny. I can make a perfect cheesecake every time. Non stick surface is incredible and makes for effortless clean up. I would recommend this bakeware to anyone who loves to make homemade cheesecake. This pan set also comes with an insert to make bundt cakes. The insert is fluted.

Love my Pampered Chef Springform Pan!

I have had my Pampered Chef Springform Pan for a few years now and just love it. It works incredibly well and is a nice, solid springform pan. The textured glass bottom looks great and is super easy to clean. The glass is scratch resistant and still looks great after many uses. The sprinform sides have a non-stick coating which works pretty well and the pan comes with a plastic 'knife' that you can use to run around the edge of your dessert to help it separate from the pan before you remove the sides. It is extremely important that you only use the supllied plastic knife for this purpose as anything else can and will scratch the sides and coating of your pan. I know from experience unfortunetly, I could not find the supplied plastic knife once and didn't think too much of using a regular knife to loosen the edges but it left little scratches along the inside of my whole pan. Really sucks but was my fault and not a problem with the actual product. Overall, this is a very nice, quality springform pan!

I love my Pampered Chef Springform Pan!

The Pampered Chef Springform Pan is the first item I had ever purchased from the Pampered Chef line of products.  I bought it about 8 years ago and have loved it ever since! I have a couple great recipes for cheesecakes (found from allrecipes) that are fail proof!  It's so easy to use and I love that it wipes clean so easily.  Since it is a springform pan, you can take the entire cheesecake out of the pan and leave the sides intact. It makes for a beautiful and elegant presentation.  My one complaint is that whenever I try to use a water bath to bake the cheesecake, some water always leaks into the pan, so it's not completely "waterproof." I have even wrapped the sides in foil to prevent this from happening, but it still does.  Most likely this is a "user error" and doesn't detract from the springform pan itself.  I have only ever used it for cheesecakes, but it does come with a fluted insert to make bundt cakes as well.

We have the Pampered Chef  large springfoam pan to make our cheese cakes in. It works really good to get them out when your done and they are always done just right and a perfect size. We have alarger size family and we always need something large for us to have when we want to make a cheesecake. My daughter makes a real nice peanut better cheesecake and she always uses the springfoam pan for making it in. We are able to take it apart and put it in the dishwasher and it come so nice and clean and it also comes with a scraper and again it comes with a reciepe so you have something to start off with. The price on these are real good too and you can have a party and get a discount on them and that helps so you can buy the other sizes too. You will love this pan and see how easy it is to use and how easy it is to clean. So next time you want a cheesecake get a pampered chef springfoam pan and make yourself a great cake.
