My friend told me about this rice cooker.  I thought I would try it since she said it is the best rice cooker on the maket.  Well, she was right.  This is the most genius rice cooker ever made! I make homemade mashed potatoes, spanish rice from the box in only 12 minutes in the mircowave. My hsband is amazed that it does not have to be a holiday to get mashed potatoes on a week night!  I even make cakes in it using only the contents specified on the cake mix box. I absolutely LOVE my Pampered Chef Rice Cooker! I always get perfect rice every time. It never boils over like other rice cookers I've used. I love that it goes in the microwave where I set the cook time and then I can just leave it while I prepare the rest of the meal and I just take it out when I'm ready to put it on the table. And I can even cook other things in it besides rice. Once I cooked a cake in it! I've cooked frozen chicken that I needed to put in a casserole. I absolutely love it and would definately recomend it to others.
