My son and I both love our Pampered Chef My Safe Cutter. He loves to help in the kitchen during meal prep times and has, up until now, been using just a child's butter knife which will barely cut a thing. The My Safe Cutter actually cuts things so my son could not be happier to help out. The blunt tip makes it very safe, so no need to worry about him poking himself. The serrated edge is effective for cutting soft foods but would have a very hard time cutting through skin. I feel very safe letting my 3 year old use this knife and he loves to participate in making supper. Also, the price on this knife cannot be beat! I looked at a few other children's knives and they were much more expensive for a similar product. This product is really great as is but I would have loved to see it sold with a matching cutting board so my son could have his own set. However, I am sure I can just go to the store and buya  cute cutting board so its not a huge deal. Overall, I am very happy with this little knife!
